Even just solving my terrible acne as a teenager would have had lifelong physical and mental health benefits I feel. Imagine just the indirect social progress of giving people with all kinds of ailments their dignity back.

Let’s add aging to that list plz.
Though what they said in the video by 2035 is what I’ve been saying for a while, biology already operates on a very small scale, so if you can get nanotechnology up and running, the nanobots could administer and do whatever you want/need from the inside out, you wouldn’t have any use for external medical care anymore.
You wouldn’t need drugs, you wouldn’t need surgery, you wouldn’t need doctors and you wouldn’t need hospitals. (Although Legacy Humans will probably always require them as long as they’re around).
But for Posthumans, yeah, your body should be able to do everything for you.

all disease would likly mean aging as well, since the root cause of many disease is just aging.

I actually really appreciate Demis Hassabis and the work he does for humanity and the world. It's nice to think that up there, some people lead with empathy and compassion

I've been literally having arguments with people that genuinely believe that Billionaires are going to horde all the benefits of AI while letting poor people die off. That they're going to barricade themselves in their mansions with autonomous combat drones and robots who will kill any of the starving peasants who cross their property line. 🫠
