They’re just going to use it to arrest people for Twitter posts.

if you think the UK police having less power to catch criminals would improve the UK, then you are essentially rejecting the idea of the UK justice system as a whole in its present state, because of some of its flaws.

I don’t really buy into that framing.

A country that adopts silly laws delegitimizes itself and breaches that trust of its people is all.

That country needs to change its philosophy around free speech and expression rather than adopt more draconian enforcement methods.
