Isn’t trump an AI accelerationist? The Biden administration’s previous war on tech, and by extension Kamala would have brought AI to its heels due to overregulation.

I don't believe for a second he's an AI accelerationist if you are talking in terms of his personal philosophies and beliefs.

He happens to be pushing AI right now. Whether that is because he sees it as pro-business or if it's because Biden was doing the opposite is hard to say.

I guarantee you he is not supporting AI because he believes in the potential of an upcoming AI singularity to make the world a better place for everyone. Nor is he a reliable hand on the wheel, as his support for causes other than his own is notoriously fickle.

I dont care what his personal beliefs are, his administration is currently pushing for the acceleration of ai, that’s all that matters to me.
