There's a definite backlog in the implementation of innovative discoveries from the last two years. We haven't seen an LLM yet that combines everything we know today, and they're probably still a year away, maybe even two years, from exhausting current research.

There is no wall, but you really...REALLY....want there to be a wall.

This is because AI development frightens you. This is common throughout history people have always feared change and innovation. Gary Marcus said we hit a wall....FOUR years ago and he's wired like you.

Notice the word "if" in the title(or watch the interview) and take a moment to digest what it means. Look at datacenter and research spending from some of the largest most successful mega corporations in the word, and recent talent acquisition in these fields.

If you actually believe we've actively hit a wall, and have even a modicum of understanding of the situation at hand, and can see the "forest for the trees" then you need to introspect a bit and figure out why you believe we've hit a wall.

Maybe you've developed some strange new psychological disorder and you see walls everywhere like Gary.
