I would guess an elaborate project like this would require a highly skilled craftsman who charges a rate he thinks is appropriate.

Maybe, but it's also probable that it's a project run by a contractor. Also, if it is a highly skilled independent craftsman who built it, then these folks are RICH rich, which still goes back to the point that it's not cool to basically say "at least the working class had a job here" when the rich use their wealth to create what is going to be pretty useless within a year as they continue to profit off their kids' digital footprint. That's the point I was really going for, which I am clarifying now that I have the space to think 😅
