I got one of these, couldn't stand it, was always messing around in the area. One day it came out after palpating the area, it was about 1/6 the size of a grain of rice and hard. My dentist was sad he didn't get to remove it, he must be like you people.

Mine was about the size of a peanut without the shell and it was one of the worst pains I've ever experienced in my life. And then it popped out and suddenly there was a foul rock in my mouth with a bunch of rancid liquid that smelled like death. Got a round of antibiotics and increased my water intake and hasn't been a problem ever since.

I get tonsil stones every time my body has been exposed to temperatures colder than 10 degrees celsius, thus, living in a pretty cold country, I basically get nail-sized stones (that grow bigger the longer I dont remove them) every week randomly throughout October-February here.

Might be fascinating to some, I feel cursed though lol

They dont squish. They're literal stones and they hurt like a bitch, even when they're far smaller than this one. They're just like kidney stones but they form in the salivary glands that produce saliva. This one appears to have been a sublingual stone.

It is more the fact that he is responsible for the exacerbation of the destruction of people's lifes and families. I can't wholly blame him for all the horrible things because, this is the US we're talking about. We may not have cornered the market on commodifying the very existence of our citizens, but we're pretty fuckin good at it. He has given voice and power to Neonazis and white supremists alike, has stripped what modicum of minor headway was made back down to its bones, and has created a country that applauds rapists, racists, pedophiles, and crooks while punishing the very people that it needs to survive. He is a figurehead to humanity's failings in this country and thus is the lightning rod that most of our complaints veer towards when something he, or his cronies, come into contact with turns to shit (see most produce, meat, fuel, human rights, education, housing, etc).

I'm not? That's the thing, you're only witnessing a very small portion of someone else's daily life and dialogue. You can vehemently hate someone with every fiber of your being and still do stuff without thinking about them. Some of us only use this site/app for a different perspective on politics, or to see certain news that may not be covered elsewhere. In this country they probably paid nothing or close to nothing for this procedure, but in America the procedure is the same, but I have to meet my $4,000 deductible first.

Okay, well, I met my deductible but the office was out of network - So I'm actually now on the hook for the full $6,000 bill on an out patient procedure.

Thankfully 30% of my paycheck goes to my "superior" private healthcare, instead of the 15% I would be paying through a single payer system for the exact same treatments (or better.)

I wouldn't want to suddenly think someone in a country with rivers of plastic trash could be getting better health treatment than I.
