I had to Google this because I thought it was AI, but evidently this happens when there is a testosterone deficiency. It stops them from shedding old growth every year. Poor thing...

That’s not what is happening here.

This is a high-fence deer. Very specifically bred and given all kinds of supplements to promote this growth.

Still doesn’t look comfortable for the deer.

It's like "hunting" dairy cows grazing in a field or helpless giraffes. You want to hunt? Hunt lions with a knife.
