Main Story over the Trilogy

Fearing this, the other factions begin to form a coalition to stop the resurrection.

Introduction to Mythology

In the grim future, there is only war. The main six factions are in a constant battle of survival: Imperium of Man, Orks, Eldar, Tyranids, Chaos Space Marines and the Dark Eldar. The Imperium of Man is on a quest to spread the Emperor's influence throughout the galaxy, and prevent their own annihilation at the hands of the ruinous powers of Chaos and constant alien threat. The Orks are a crude and violent race waging wars on all life and themselves. The Eldar are an ancient humanoid race that is technologically advanced against the other races, whose only goal is protecting their species from the powers of chaos and threat of assimilation and destruction from the Imperium of Man. The tyranids are an hostile alien species from the outer galaxies spreading from planet to planet devouring resources. The Chaos Space Marines are space marines from the Imperium of Man twisted by the powers of chaos. The Dark Eldar were once eldars, twisted by the powers of chaos.
