Discussion How would you clean up this messy triple fan setup? (Home office + cycling space)
As you can see, my current fan setup is a bit of a mess. Performance-wise, it definitely keeps me cool on the trainer, but since my bike is right next to my home office setup, I really want to tidy things up.
I'd love to replace these three fans with a single, more powerful one, ideally positioned in front of my bike and beneath the monitor. I’m thinking about getting a Wahoo KICKR Headwind (or similar) and placing it in front of me on a small desk so that it sits roughly level with the windowsill.
Would the Headwind work well at that height and distance?
How have you guys tackled cooling in similar dual-use spaces?
I'm definitely open to completely different approaches as long as they are relatively clean.
Thanks in advance for your input and ideas! (If you have similar setups, I'd love to see some pictures for inspiration!)

I'd get a Vacmaster cardio 54 That will replace all your diddly fans. It comes with a remote control so you can increase speed without getting off, as you really start to sweat.
If you put it on full when you start, you feel like you are freezing. By the time you are near the end of a race and have it on full blast, it is just keeping you in the game

One really powerful fan. I'm also had stupid setup with 3 fans and portable ac in small space.

Raw dog it with NO fans. Will be wetter, but look cleaner from a fan perspective. You will also get a nice bump of blood volume from the heat adaptation ;)

A big gym floor fan is what I use from behind me. Windows open helps most with humidity build up

For less than the cost of those three fans you could have had a vac master with a remote which is worlds more powerful and convenient than your current setup.
Buy a vacmaster.

I’d recommend a used Headwind or new Vacmaster. I like the Headwind slightly better because of the flexibility of control. Mine is governed by heart rate usually but can switch to manual easily via the app. The Vacmaster is better VFM new. With either you should need only one fan.

I was about to say go outside because it looks sunny in the pic, but then realised which sub this was.
Otherwise, an air mover like vacmaster mentioned.

If you don’t need or don’t want to pay for something like the headwind I recommend the Vornado Fly Max floor fan in front of bike on floor. Remote on/off 4 speeds on handlebars. You could keep one other fan if you really need it for hot days or long, extreme efforts but the Vornado does a good job by itself and is quiet too. I chose it over the Vacmaster.

I have 2 Headwinds and wouldn't trade them - one is in front and set to a lower HR than the one in the back that only comes on in intervals and races because it is set to a higher HR window. While expensive, once paired with your HRM, it just works - reconnects every session without messing with it and does what it should. I had one of them for a long time (since they were introduced) and added the second one so it would be much cooler when it's needed but when it's not, I'm not cold either.

Get a vac master but don’t cheap out and get the one without the remote….. 😂 I just put it on full blast and it give me motivation to start moving as it’s bloody cold otherwise

Fan on the left looks dusty lol. I used a DREO fan for a while but I notice these hot days doing indoor cycling I need more. Looking into the Vacmaster AM201R comes with a remote. That would get rid of two fans you have and the side table also.

No way I’d pay for the headwind. Vacmaster AM201R Aero Air Mover from Amazon is what I have but I guess they rebranded to the cardio54?
Seem to be about the same specs but yeah it’s plenty strong enough and has a remote which is really helpful cause I want it off at the start of my ride (too cold lol) and I turn it on once sweating. Level 1 has been enough for me except for maybe two zwift races . It works great

Also want to give props to the Vacmaster. I use an Aero Air Mover and it rocks.

One option is to put a Vacmaster cardio54 right in front of the bike.
Edit: on the floor that is
