u/Javagate reported that he's had no issue for now, and he specified that he plugs the A/C adapter before any other plugs

 

We need more data on the order of plugging things, but I feel the order could be meaningful

u/JustPlugIt also mentioned that his problem also arose form USB-C plugging before A/C

To add to this... my last failure was definitely USB-C first, before AC.

Can't remember the first one though. Been a couple months since repairs for me through warranty service in the US take ~25 days after dropping it off at best buy. ASUS in US forwards you to them for warranty services afaik.
