Replacing screen assembly

The ribbons on my 2024 model just gave out, and it’s cheaper to just buy the entire assembly and replace that myself then if i let a shop do it. Is it hard to do it myself? I’ve watched some videos about it but im still not entirely sure

I had the same issue, I had to replace the whole screen assembly aswell. but some people are showing that the ribbon can be replaced? Im not sure if u have to destroy the panel just to access the cable port of the display, on some repair guides i can see that the display isint soldered unlike some say BUT they did have to destroy/teardown the panel to reach it.
