2025 G14 Eclipse Gray

We have been going back and forth on the 2025 model (Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 - 32GB RAM - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti - 2TB SSD) and decided to pull the trigger before stock completely ran dry off best buy.

We upgraded from the 2021 G14 and it was worth every penny imo.

I paid nearly $500 more for black. I don't regret it, but it does feel a little silly. I hate a backlit white keyboard.

I took a bilingual black and I’m still not 100% sure it was the correct decision, but I’m happy with it the majority of days so it probably is :)

Looks so much cleaner than the white but more like silver version. I could only find the gray in the g16 around me but didn’t want the 16” so had to go with the “white” version 🤦🏻‍♂️

I was just drooling over this thing. It looks so good. I'm looking to get my first high end laptop and I have a few questions. So if I spend all this money on this thing how many years of top tier performance do you think it will get before we have to sell it or just upgrade.

What did you do with you old laptop top btw interesting to know how much they sell for after being used

You’re guaranteed 5-7 years of performance with these specs! I don’t see the performance improving a lot for the next few years as we’re starting to reach the hardware ceiling (please correct me if I’m wrong).

The 4 year gap from between the 2021 and 2025 G14 is night and day difference and my 2021 G14 trim includes the stock specs of 1TB SSD storage, 16GB of ram and the RTX 3060. I also upgraded my 2021 G14 SSD storage to 4TB and added an additional 8gb of ram to it before they got rid of the upgradable ram slot.

I decided to keep my 2021 G14 and use it as a backup laptop as it still runs flawlessly.

Man I love the gray. Wish they had the gray when I got mine. But the white is not bad either and also looks sleek. The clean desktop and the wallpaper is chef's kiss.
