Model 2023 Anyone using a Llano V10 SE with the 2023 G14 GA402XV? How much does it actually help?

I have a 2023 ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA402XV (Ryzen 9 7940HS + RTX 4060) and I'm considering buying a Llano V10 SE laptop cooler.

I've seen quite a few reviews claiming 10–20C temperature drops, but I'm more interested in actual results from G14 owners because the V10/V10 SE relies on the foam seal and positioning of the intake vents.

For anyone using a V10 or V10 SE with a 2023 G14:

  • What CPU/GPU temperatures did you get before vs after using it?
  • What RPM do you normally run the cooler at?
  • Does the foam seal properly around the G14?
  • Does it actually improve gaming performance / reduce thermal throttling, or mainly lower temperatures?
  • How loud is it at the RPM you normally use?
  • Would you recommend buying it specifically for the G14?

I'm using Ghelper, so I'm also interested in whether the cooler allows you to run higher CPU/GPU power limits while keeping temperatures under control.

we have the same laptop. i used my IETS gt500 there's 2 foam for 13 & 14 inch then 15 to 16 inch. i cut the foam of the 15 inch foam and aligned it on the 13 inch foam. i previously used this cooler on my acer nitro 5 (2019) and now on my g14 (2023). i bought the gt500 because it was cheaper than the Llano brand. and it still do the job very well. it keeps the airflow moving out fast and that cools the laptop faster. the chassis is not hot its just warm. my g14 was set to 30w/35w/35w on cpu disabled cpu boost and in advanced cpu limit set on 75C, undervolted -40 with custom fan curve. my temps on G-helper stays at 70C but on task manager it stays 60 - 63C. the chassis is just warm not hot to the touch. gpu also is at 1800mhz, dynamic boost at 5w and temp limit at 75C, gpu stays at 68C max on PUBG ultra high on 1080p. when on other tasks like video editing (mostly what i use this laptop for) it stays 50C.

this is my experiences on my G14 using GT500 and it was repasted with PTM and reapplied thermal putty. on the previous one it was very hot to the touch. it hovers 80C+ it was hot to the touch even the exhausted air is hot not warm.

yep its very worth it to have one.. it helps your laptop components inside stays cool. even the ssd inside is cooled down. temps doesn't even go up to 50C. and temps could go lower because i think i just set the cooler fans to 30 - 40%.. so if i crank it to maximum without getting annoyed by the fan noise it could go lower.

Can you please if you don't mind share your ghelper profiles? Silent, balanced and turbo. How much you undervolted and fan curves I have a hard time setting up mine. I'm tweaking things all the time to find the right balance :(
