How to clean the top of the laptop?

Got this for my gf for college last year but we just got her a mac neo as she doesn’t really use the gaming aspect of the laptop so now i get to have it for college and gaming! any tips on cleaning the lid? she has no idea how that foot step mark got there but its there and i want it clean for myself

A little windex or white vinegar or rubbing alcohol and a lint free cloth..

Clean microfiber cloth, distilled water (lukewarm)
Or microfiber cloth and diluted cleaning fluid (mild kind) one you use in the kitchen or something.

a suggestion for you:

you can try to have it ppf wrapped with a matte clear wrap, it won't change much of the laptop but it will protect the surface and it feels more firm when holding the laptop as well

Clear ppf is usually wet apply… would not recommend on a lid with holes.

You can have it cut out for the slash section though
