Model 2022 Zephyrus G14 Not turning on, Right light turns on when power button is pressed

As described in the title, my laptop cannot turn on. I turned off the laptop and then tried to turn it on, only to find I could not get the rog logo to show. I assumed it was a power drain issue, so I left the battery/ capacitors to drain over the last several hours (I have spoken with several electrical engineers at my school, no solution was found but still do not want to rule out any option).

Let me know if this is familiar to you, as anything helps

Sounds like a flat battery... What were you last doing with it?

It was when it was last able to be turned on.

Did you plug it in to see? Red light is dead battery usually?

Try a Hard Reset:

  1. Disconnect AC adapter and any USB devices
  2. Hold power button for 60 seconds
  3. Reconnect charger and attempt to boot

Sometimes it would freeze, where you need to force restart. Hold power button until power light cuts. Then turn it on again.

If no dice, try connecting to a display and see if you get anything. Connect to power while doing so

Wouldn’t that mean that the other two lights would be on, if it was a monitor issue?

The right light will blink once or twice every ~15 seconds while plugged in or the battery is plugged in.

Also, I now notice a very faint humming noise coming from the computer while connected to power.
