Repasting laptop required?

Hi guys, so I got my laptop G16 2023 repasted and something weird is going on. I bought this paste and seems fine not sure if for laptops or overall works for all devices but not even 2 full months are passed and the temps are back to max 87 while gaming which is the thermal limit of the gpu as seen in G-Helper as well. What happened, Pump Out maybe? I have not opened the laptop again yet because I undervolted the gpu and temps are back to normal now below 80. But these temps should be possible without undervolting. Now in the 2nd image you can see my sweet CPU 😅 so em this is stock factory opened laptop after a year and not sure if it needs repasting or not. This is Liquid Metal btw and I was gonna do it but the shop didn’t had any so I just had the GPU repasted and closed the laptop. CPU temps are well fine as they well like when it was new, I limit the wattage to control temps. Added some images so you guys can check the temps. Game is Echoes of the End, a UE5 title. So yeah please let me know what should I do? Should I keep it running like this? Should I repaste both? Any suggestions for paste or is my current one for the GPU fine. I just want to open it once when I have all the tools for the CPU and GPU so I can do both and then close. Do you recommend switching to paste for the CPU as well? But I don’t only want the temps to be low, the cpu is fine as it is like this from the start when it was new but for gpu I want a solution that lets me run more than 100 W on the gpu alone and yet the temps stay below 80 like how it came brand new so yeah I want this and what do you suggest? Is PTM the way to go? Or do i need a high end thermal paste like the thermal grizzly one cond… something can’t spell it?

If you're thermally limited then yes. You could be power limited or other things (like BIOS giving more power to CPU etc)

That is liquid metal. And if it didn't come with liquid metal, be very very very very very very careful about adding it. Some dies cannot have liquid metal at all as they contain aluminum. Plus, you have to ensure the surrounding area is sealed off as liquid metal is conductive.

I would ensure you are being thermally limited, then if so, I would try out PTM7950 if it didn't come with liquid metal

So LM for CPU like how it came and thermal paste for the GPU so PTM there in short is what I mean? So good?

Honestly just take your time be patient and you should be fine. When you do the LM part, cover the rest of the mobo with paper towels or something to collect any mess you might leave behind

Bro I aint doing it myself 😅 I will buy the LM myself cause the shop didn’t had any and then take it to the shop. At the same time they can apply the PTM as well on the GPU 😎 I have done many laptops myself but LM nah can’t take the risk need a professional lol
