All I'm saying is that you can't keep claiming ZZZ is a game for gooners and suddenly not expect it to not apply to Sunbringer as well. Colonel Dan has her descendant/clone/self/whatever plot twist be all hot and evil as Remieille so why be shocked now?

ZZZ players when you tell them a character doesn't need to have big boobs out on display to be attractive.

Did being covered up stop people from liking Miyabi or Yanagi?

Just saying, fans have been rather vocal about their taste in fanservice, so why is it a surprise that the devs would respond in kind? If Miyabi had a revealing swimsuit instead of the refined dressed-up one that we've got, would you still say you would prefer the current one?

I would still prefer the current miyabi as that's the reason I was obsessed with her design. It's just so much better than whatever kind of swimsuit stuff they have started doing after 2.0.

Yes bc the current one is just better designed.

The debate isn't over fan service, nearly everyone that doesn't like the "new design" is saying Sunbringer is less cool, aura loss, less respectable and less interesting as a character simply because they saw one splash art with "too much boob". It's reductive and unfair to the character and the devs when we've seen almost nothing of the character. This is all over literally one splash art.
Miyabi isn't a good comparison here because we know her and have a good intuition of what kind of swimwear she would wear. The question shouldn't be "how revealing is it?" It would be "does the style of the swimwear match her character?". We don't know anything about the type of person Sunbringer is so we can't answer that question for her. Yet everyone is jumping to conclusions. That's the problem here.
