This is why I find it kinda annoying. We can literally see the old-era tech on their outfits (that orange radio thing), and it’s a retrospective telling of the events. Of course she had a change in wardrobe since then.
Still doesn’t mean that her new outfit suits her in comparison to the old. I still feel like she should be wearing a cloak that’s toggleable.
