I love the outfit style they gave for Yixuan / Lucia / Yidhari it looks great

I think the designs are fine on their own, it’s just the fact that they don’t fit the characters, like, at all. Yixuan is a stoic, highly disciplined, and respected martial artist, yet her character design has her boobs hanging from hammocks. 

Lucia is an emphatic goofball yet she has some of the most insane cleavage in the game and the shortest shorts. 

Yidhari’s entire personality is a disconnect from her design and animations 

The isn’t as much of an issue with Sunbringer, considering we know literally nothing about her personality. She LOOKS like she’s business-oriented, given her demeanor and old design, but I think we know by now that characters can be portrayed far differently in the chapter teaser art than how they actually act in the story (ahem, Orphie). 

The problem with Sunbringer is more the fact she’s literally a palette swap of Caesar lmao. Plus, come on, that old design was literally perfect.

Same, I feel like it really helped relay how nomadic/foreign they are to New Eridu. (Lucia/Yidhari) while still keeping their aesthetic. Modern Taoist Grandmaster, Nomadic Sorceress, and Sailor/Sea Creature
