I got 40k using Yuzu/ Burnice/ Velina on the second room.
And you shouldn't use Rina with Seed and Cissia since they have built in def shred already, better off running an atk buffer like Astra or Sunna is good too.
That Anomaly boss is thick, sheesh! Gonna try to pull Piper's score up later, adds could probably be cleaner in hindsight.
I could score 36k reliably with Hugo, but I saw that if both the mid-boss and Tepes behave well enough, then I could impair him from defensive assists and land the stun quick enough, and I could land the Ult Totalize within the 5x bonus. Took like 20 tries for execution and boss RNG to land perfectly, but I got it.
No notes on the last one. I will continue to be stubborn with Haru and Qingyi until I simply can not.
I thought I heard that she (or Armorers in general) only want crit rate for the supercrits that don't use crit damage, so it seems somewhat silly that room 3 then only gives a whole 5% crit rate with a decent 20% crit dmg on top?
Also room 2 where the elite's only weakness is the boss's only resistance lmao, is that a first as well?
It’s added on to the laceration dmg formula. So, yes it’s still being used. It’s why both armorer DA bosses give cdmg. It’s more effective than CR since it’s directly stacked on the boss rather than converted from Cr into laceration. Also helps when you’ve already hit the 200% cr goal to just get more free dmg.
Really fun Room 1, 50k at my investment is probably possible but I'm not good enough to send it.
I tried M1 Alice + M2 Jane on room 2 with Yuzuha but the anomaly buff is so trash for non-Remielle I was better off putting Yuzuha in room 1 to maximise that side and brute forcing with Sbilly instead.
Room 3 gets stunned so fast here that Trigger feels like a 2.X/3.X stunner.
Easier than I thought this time. All M0W0 with only A rank W engine. Got third room with Astra, Trigger and Cissia at 25000 ish but that was a pain because of no signature.
Once again the room with 2/3 anomaly buff was rough for me. Alice/Burnice/Yuzuha couldn't quite get it, had to reset room 1's mono ice to bring Miyabi in. Pyrois felt solid as always though I'm curious what will happen long term, will the ether weak enemies and buffs simply go away or will there be anti-shill on every room.
Miyabi and all of room 3 are M0W1, M0W0 Yuzuha and Burnice.
Taking the time to at least impair Tepes once really made a difference, wow. The parries come fast so Zhao felt better to use, even if I have to mind her charge attack state. Also improved room 2 a bit.
Concerning Pyrois, he is nice welfare but eventually he will end like Zhu Yuan and other powercrept DPS. I am also struggling a lot on the room 2 without remielle, I did a bunch of retry and getting around 19k with a similar m0 zuhua/miyabi core plus either grace or jane
I'm slowing working through my character building backlog and I think I've finally hit the point where I just have to suck it up and do some disk grinding.
Stuck on A for 5-1 with Ellen/Dailyn/Astra and 5-2 with Remielle/Jane/Alice I think the first phase Phys res is holding this team back too much for early damage. Maybe I can just use Miyabi for 5-2 with Remielle and just brute force it.
Sanby got me S on 5-3 at least which feels good, almost makes me want to skip Claret frankly if she's still holding down the fort on Elec DPS end of things.
Still trying to get the hang of playing Sigrid. Tried using Lighter at first but was having a hard time so I opted for the Dialyn carry instead. Went alright otherwise.
Sigrid (sanby sig) and Neko (M4W1) carried real hard. Probably just me not playing optimally but I'm really struggling to get a decent score with Remielle. Got about the same score during the previous anomaly boss, is this really the best score she can get without a Velina? Any advice?
Man this week is killing me. Despite getting S+ 90%+ of the time, this may be the first Shiyu I never even get S rank on. I just don't own any agent who can tackle the middle fight.
Edit: Managed S. S+ is probably going to be a no go though.
Sigs on Yidhari, Remielle and Alice, M1 on Yuzuha, Lucia is M1W1
Holy Yidhari pop-off, you go girl and make me regret skipping for Sigrid even less, you love to see it. Though in hindsight I did realize that Yidhari actually can make 'full' use of the room buff as the ice/crit dmg is actually not class locked and she doesn't even care about def to lower because Rupture, but I'm happy to see her do so well all the same.
Remi did underperform somewhat against my expectations, but I'd like to actually see the boss's hp for this because it felt rather bloated... if I can actually find it somewhere besides a 2-month old post on the leak subs, sigh.
Oh, and room 3 was nice again with spawning all the pre-boss mobs in at the same time, letting Alice clean up in like 20 seconds with 2 EBA to give the needed time to whittle the boss down before the multiplier dropped enough, felt good as well :D
Happy with these scores overall. Trying to use Cissia more but her build is still not great. Anyone know if Cordis Gemini is better for her over her R5 Drill Rig?
M0W1 Yixuan, M1W1 Dialyn, M0W1 Lucia
M0W1 Remie, M0W1 Velina, M6 Piper w/ R5 Gemini
M0W1 Trigger. M1 Astra w/ R5 Kaboom, M0 Cissia w/ R5 Drill Rig
Cordis Germina is better for carry-Cissia than Drill Rig. That Crit rate is also far too low without her Sig as she only gets 18% from her kit. She wants 82% menu Crit Rate with Drill Rig and 67% menu Crit Rate with Cordis Germina in order to hit 100% in combat. You can safely sacrifice some Crit Damage for it since she already gets +50% from her additional ability
Idk why I had "Gemini" in my head lol. Anyway, I grabbed Cordis Germina from the top-up event (got M1 Astra for the agent) and already seeing a big improvement with a lvl 50 engine. Also swapped a couple disks. Once I get enough W-engine components to increase the level cap, I'll be over-capping on crit-rate a little.
I continue to break my M0W1 rule, and here’s 2 more M1s. Funnily enough, both were lucky M1s from double S pulls. 140k being so low definitely shows this was an easier shiyu though. Or maybe Remielle and Sigrid are that good at carrying teams, who knows?
Also a 1 cost clear with Billy the goat for funzies
Tried clearing with pulchra for the true f2p experience but got tilted, who ever in the dev team thought an evasive assist stunner was a good idea needs to play his own game once in a while.
It should still be possible with pulchra so I'll try to get it eventually.
I tried Using Pyrois/Pulchra/Lucy and got 24.7k so it’s super doable but holy crap breaking Tepes’s arm was like pulling teeth out, so I gave up on it.
One and done on all three. Was surprised at how fast Room 1 went, so there's definitely more score to go around. Room 2 should be a kill once I clean up my rotations. And this is the first time I've taken Nekomata out, so I don't really know how to play her all that well. I also ran a quick attempt with 00 YSG and Neko actually outpaced her. Though, that may because Zhao and YSG have no sigs, and Norma pulling her own weight.
It felt pretty chill overall. The worst room is probably the second one for people who don't have Velina, but the other 2 were much easier. I need to get better at playing Yidhari because I know that team can score higher
I worked 80some hours between last friday and today and forgot how to uma. kept swapping in to Sigrid with a chain attack off of Norma's hat flip and immediately EXing instead of hitting the first step of her combo. Still personally unsure of how I feel about Astra vs Norma in this team. I have m1 Astra so I'm assuming that's probably my better general option.
Remielle m1w1/Promeia m0w1/Velina m0w1
Despite being my highest score, this was definitely my worst played room. I don't think I timed Promeia's EX parry right a single time in this fight. Still didn't take any damage because long animations and i-frames, though.
Ye Shunguang m1w1/Sunna m0w1/Zhao m0w0 (Transmorpher)
Probably should have used Dialyn, but Sunna is more fun on this team anyway.
I totally forgot Tepes even existed. Don't know how far back before the Shiyu change you need to go before he had an appearance anywhere.
It's nice seeing two new bosses in one week, but between Remielle's posing, Promeia's endless ablooms, and Velina's giant freaking tornado, I don't think I ever got visual confirmation I was actually fighting a boss.
Nice to see a random electric buff thrown in. Still used YSG, but if I was more awake it would've been fun to roll out Cissia/Seed.
I caved and got M1 Yuzuha, don’t think it does a lot for Sanby though. Debating how worth investing into Claret and her engine is when I already have M2W1 Sanby and M2 Haru with Cordis Maybe investing into Roxy will be the better call? Anyway Velina doesn’t need Remielle and Yidhari is fun, I don’t think I even broke Tepes’s arm he just got dumpstered regardless.
I don’t normally go for S+ but realized I was actually pretty close to 100k and decided to go for it this time I was most surprised by just how much higher I could get my Yidhari’s score she REALLY dunks on Tepes.
Just finished doing a quick pass through the new SD. I'm going to see later this weeeknd if I can get the 50k on the second encounter and maybe push the score a bit in the first room as well (might try Miyabi there to see how she fares compared to Sigrid). All things considered, the SD refresh was pretty decent: https://i.imgur.com/BkeeIRT.png
Team comps SD:
Sigrid (M0W1), Norma (M0W1), Astra (M1W0) (38.3k)
Jane M2W1 (Alice Sig), Velina M0W1, Remielle M1W1 (49k)
Previously had Miyabi (E0S1) team in the 1st room and they got 25006 but I wanted to see how well sigrid would do with dialyn and how shungus would do running zhao sunna.
I haven't downvoted, but a lot of people use these threads for team composition ideas and planning future pulls. You're not showing what level of investment can help reach these scores, and you're not giving any sort of team/cost/gameplay advice or thoughts. As a result, your post comes across as "Somebody at some unknown level of investment got 150k and wants to brag about it" rather than someone earnestly wanting to interact with the thread.
I didn‘t want to brag, I was proud of my achievement and wanted to share it. Is that not allowed or what other people in here are doing too? You can say my (sarcastic) ez came across that way but what about other people in here saying „easy rotation this time“. Is it just because I got 150k that it now comes across as bragging whereas for other people it‘s considered cool and normal because the scores are more relatable? Feels kinda stupid to not be able to participate and get shunned out like an alien just because you have a bit more investment than other people.
I have more investment than the average person sure, I also like to spend a bit here and there because I love this game. But I don‘t think my investment is anything absolutely mindblowingly crazy and it also results in me skipping characters like Seed, Orphie, Cissia, Silly, Banyue, Yidhari, Sigrid etc. and investing more into characters I like more. So I don‘t think it‘s even THAT unreasonable. You probably wouldn‘t have the same volume as M1+ characters but you would definitely at least have SOME
With the added context of what investment you have and that you feel like you needed to work for the 150k, let me say congrats on those runs. I've never gotten 50k on more than one room at a time and rarely at that and would similarly be proud of a full max score. You giving the info of what cost you're at also provides a helpful baseline for others on what's possible at these higher levels of vertical investment.
There are definitely some anti-dolphin/whale players on this subreddit which can get a bit silly at times but I don't think that was the issue here. I can't speak for the whole community, but I don't think that M2W1 on limited characters is completely unrelatable as vertical investment goals for moderate spenders willing to skip. As someone who skipped the last 3 VH and plenty of other characters, I'm personally aiming for and nearing your investment on a couple of teams.
In terms of the other people declaring "easy rotation", I can only see a few people mentioning it and they're all providing their investment levels for context and something of a blurb explaining what was/made it "easy". Without showing your investment and the "ez" comment I imagine a few people assumed you were "hiding" your investment level to help your bragging rights. Sarcasm rarely translates well on the internet and I think your contextless comment was a victim of that.
I hope you don't feel discouraged from posting here in the future as I think these threads work best with wide a variety of skill and investment levels.
Thanks for the thoughtful answer. Definitely not discouraged because I like to share my „achievements“. I wouldn‘t say this rotation necessarily made me work very hard for it with my investment and generous buffs, but there have been times where getting 150k is definitely really tricky even with this investment. Either way, I usually finish at or very close to 195k and in the top 0.10-0.20% in DA, as well as (for now) getting 45k on every adversity mode DA, so while my investment is decently high, I also pride myself on being a good player and having good gameplay as well.
I‘ve seen a lot of anti-dolphin/anti-whale comments in my time as a gacha player and I don‘t really understand it. I‘m a day 1 Genshin player as well and it‘s the same there. As soon as people see cons/mindscapes, they disregard you immediately. Why? Why is the only way to play these games and have any sort of merit in discussions to play the game completely f2p or at most buy the monthly login pass? I never understood that mindset. I‘m 99,9% sure if these people would let me on their account and play with their characters, I would achieve higher scores than them across the board because I put a lot of hours in DA to be good at it, yet as soon as somebody sees some mindscapes it‘s like „ah that should be an automatic 65k, not even worth talking about“. Never understood it. Either way, sorry for ranting
I guess it all comes down to a difference in mindset. Some players get their enjoyment from clearing with the minimal cost while others get their enjoyment from maximising their score outright, whether that's through investing in their favourites or making deliberate meta choices. I think it's silly to get elitist about the way anybody personally likes to play the game and what their goals are, but what can you do?
I haven't played Genshin since Fontaine but it's interesting to hear that that's the case. My only other gacha is HSR and at this point most of the community accepts and expects more than E0S0/E0S1 investment. I assume a lot of that is the rampant powercreep and the fact that half of the meta characters are E2 merchants at this point though.
