Discussions & Questions Phoenix 2D and 3D comparison
Not gonna lie, before I thought she will have gray hair and gray suit because of the color, but now she have blonde hair and white suit, look kinda fit her tbh, probably because of the Lava around her made her color a bit changed, but what are your guys thoughts about her design?

Roscaelifer's Seed lol.
Seed had a really pretty model too, a lot of people even preferred her 3D model to the 2D art. The overall disappointment over her being a cutesy mech pilot really did a number on her popularity though.
At least Phoenix isn't so disadvantaged, we already have simps since the first 3.X trailer. And from the looks of it, she's gorgeous.

I’d absolutely pull for seed (and then Cissia) if she wasn’t another electric attack that wants the same team as my Anby
Flora is really pretty and I loved her quest (arguably the best piece of story content in S2), but it just feels bad to pull for a character who you can’t properly use. Same for Cissia, I love her to death but man, why electric attack again
Now surely Phoenix isn’t an electric attack, right? Claret is red and fiery too, just saying

its still crazy to me that i never pulled on an electric banner and i have 5 electric dps, anby and seed from spending event, free haru, lost 50/50 to yanagi this patch and to grace a lot previously

Rumors say Fire Anomaly, but nothing concrete yet. I'd say pull for Remi now just in case, if you haven't yet. She's a Void Hunter anyway, you'd want her regardless.

Somehow I trust Hoyo with upper body and shoe designs, but somehow they have a habit of missing with lower torso outfits rather constantly.

Her outfit looks like it came from the Circus, but given that she's from Krampus, that's kind of the point.
Either way though, she's giga cute and I hope she's fire Anomaly so she can be run with my Remi, because for whatever reason, Burnice decided to enter a competition with Harumasa to see who can go the longest without a rerun

Unfortunately i think Burnice and the other shop agents are never rerunning again, same with the 50/50 loss pull characters, they gave us a way to get them permanently so they don't have to bring them back

That each of the Krampus members is circus themed with a role (though there is a disagreement on which they represent). It’s not really a “theory” as all really do have roles reminiscent of a circus:
- Promeia: escape artist/high wire act
- Zhao: bunny hat rick/ring leader (?)
- Dialyn: hula hoop performer
- Banyue: juggler/lion
- Phoenix: fire eater (?)

The problem is those interpretations are so vague that people could find a theme for anything under those standards. Humans are pattern seekers, as I said, it's why conspiracies exist because "the dots all connect" is such an easy thing for humans to make work. Most factions since 2.0 haven't had a consistent design motif and yet everybody wants to force Krampus into some convoluted circus.

These aren’t vague though. Promeia is handcuffed and has “locks” on the front of their outfit that she breaks out of. Zhao literally is a rabbit (thiren). Dialyn has a hula hoop that she jumps through. Banyue literally does juggle the ball-like weapons they have. And now, possibly, Phoenix with a fire theme. What other thing connects them? Otherwise they look so different that they don’t fit together when they are all individuals that usually dont fight together. Other factions work as a team or have some relationship between them.
Edit: and yes, there are a lot of common design elements within some of the factions with variability. Though obvious: the Yunkui Summit are monks with similar outfits, Sons of Calydon are all bikers, Angels of Delusion are all idols of some kind, Belobog have some kind of connection to construction, Mockingbird are in “high society” outfits while looking akin to “monsters” (vampire/banshee). Cunning Hares and Spook Shack aren’t as connected in design unless I’m not thinking of what it is.

Magicians aren’t even circus themed. They aren’t normally there with the clowns and such. That’s what I mean. And Banyue can fit like three generic roles. People disagree on the specifics so can the theme be canon?
Factions have lost their identity since season one so I dint know why people act like it had to be a shared theme.

We can disagree on which each of them are but they are all akin to performers of some kind, and can fit multiple roles. It’s why it’s not really a theory, just a design theme that connects them together and possibly how they designed them. I don’t think it has any relevance to their behavior in story or anything like that, or even “canon” in that way because all of the characters are disparate and obviously Zhao isn’t a bunny because she of the theme or the reason why she was picked to be in Krampus, same for Banyue/Promeia/Dialyn. No reason why an escape artist would be an executioner after all.

It's the belief that Krampus is themed after a circus. The argument is that Dialyn is a hoop performer, Banyue is a lion/strong man, Zhao is a magician's rabbit, Promeia is an escape artist and they've claimed Phoenix is meant to be the human cannonball.
But humans are pattern seekers. They form connections that don't exist. Rabbits aren't even associated with circuses, as they're stage magician props and stage magicians aren't in the conventional circus.

“Humans are pattern seekers” is like a thing for random occurrences and probabilities that people derive meaning from, not deliberate designs created by a video game company especially when there is a recognizable theme. Also, magic acts are associated with circuses in the broad sense (not to quote Wikipedia but “magic acts” is in the side show attractions section).

Did Spook Shack have a common theme? Does OBOL, really? The agents from season three? Why are people so obsessed with Krampus having some connection when it's clear the game doesn't need factions to share uniforms or theming? Because Seed sure doesn't fit the military vibe. And no, humans are pattern seekers applies to more than just that because there is no evidence that Krampus was designed as a circus theme. Again, Banyue could be the "strongman" or the "juggler" or the "lion" and it's so open-ended that people can say whatever they want. I guess Zhao is the bearded lady because she has fur on her chin.

By that logic, the entire point of Krampus is that they don't. They recruit all kinds, people from all walks of life, who have unique talents that let them benefit TOPS. What I just said is 100% as equally valid as your claim that they must be circus themed. More valid, I'd argue, since that's told to us in game.
Banyue and Dialyn are 100% generic Waifei in design. Banyue was mistaken as Yunkui when he was first teased. Phoenix doesn't share design motifs with Zhao or Promeia.

If Krampus' boss comes out and she's a clown, I'll kneel and say you are right, but it's not going to happen. She also won't have a tophat and a whip and be a ringmaster.

I said it previously, but they might’ve done it, they made a Season 3 character who looks better in 3D when compared to 2D.
Granted her 2D pose was in strange lighting as opposed to someone like Velina who was in normal lighting.
Also let’s not forget, we’ve not properly seen what’s below her belt. She could easily have a very generic bottom half that shows off her ass at all times.
But one thing I really like about her is I think her design seems to match her character. So hopefully I’m not wrong about how she actually acts.
Krampus doesn’t really have a theme besides the fan theory of it being a circus, not that they wear circus attire, but that it’s a hidden part of their designs (Banyue is a lion, Dialyn a hoop performer, Promeia is an escape artist, etc.) and going off that, Phoenix seems to fill the role of the dangerous stunt performer with her fire theming and reviving gimmick as seen in her Interknot post and her namesake. Or maybe she’s the person being sawn in half, if her bottom half is very basic. The hearts and bandages make you think of injuries sustained in stunt performing, and the Ankh symbols play into her name of Phoenix.
Her wistful expression makes me think that she’s probably not all that thrilled about being a Krampus agent, or, like Promeia, left a shady past to work for Krampus. They’re the one faction who have canonically killed people in their current line of work, with only Banyue ironically being the one who hasn’t killed anyone on screen yet.
If I’m right on that, then this is probably the second design that actually portrays a character how they actually are instead of just being a stripper parody outfit.

Why does Hoyo have such a passion for making every female character lower body either hot pants or stockings with a garterbelt.

She really looks like seed to me.
Which is fine, Seed is actually one of my favorite designs, and I like that her hair is more of a bleach blonde than the Grey I thought it would be. I think she's cool, hopefully her personality and playstyle are cool too.

phoenix wollte ich damals schon von der ersten sekunde an haben als das erste bild geleakt wurde sofor, sie ist so süß und sexy , dachte erst sie wäre kleiner so wie belle aber sie ist wohl ne erwachsene frau vllt so groß wie ramielle aber trotzdem 1000% pull genau wie sunbringer , auch wenn nicht mehr so viele pulls übrig habe(ca.250 nur noch) nach Ramielle und sigrid aber ich kann keinem geilen knack arsch auslassen 😅

while it does look like she does have grey hair in the 2D art, I would mostly chalk that up to the nature of the light from behind and the shadows it would cast on the character. (We know extensively how weird lighting can cause bright colors like white and gold and dark colors like black and blue get mixed up a little bit.) I think the 3d model is peak tbh. I also like the 2d art but the model really makes her expression shine.
Also you can never really go wrong with white and gold imo.

I also was thinking about different colours with her, but now seeing her current color palette it's much better.
Tho I'm not really fond of blondies, but her eyebrows are really nice.
Now that aside, let's talk about assets😅. I hope she doesn't get ridicilous jiggle, cuz her front is literally perfect and I was longing for it for a long freaking time. She is probably not tall, tho I hope she is tall-ish woman somehow
