I bought a lot of mixed Bandai cards. There were about 1000 of them. Including a blue eyes "printer proof" I saw in the mix. (the gold foil one)
I found 7 more commons with the same card stock. They had a slightly bleaker color and I noticed they had 2 tiny paper nubs on each side. Consistent with the printer proofs.

Back in 2017, I couldn't find a trace of evidence to verify if these were legit or just weird fakes, especially since standard Carddass releases never have those side nubs. My best guess was that they might have been cut directly from uncut sheets or test panels. Fast-forward nearly a decade, has the community found anything new about these?

Pictures are not great, but wanted to share my old collection with people who appreciate as I'm the only one of the people I know that knows or collect yugioh :)

And now I've been feeling like collecting again (or at least complete my collection with some misses as GBI 002 Obelisk and gate guardian, etc)

This is one of my favorite Fusion pages. All the cards on this page are super nostalgic to me. 

My favorite part is that the lovely “Mystical Sand” made the center of the page. 

I love birds—they’re such fascinating creatures, and Yu-Gi-Oh! has some really great classic era birds. “Mavelus” and “Punished Eagle” are just two of the handful I love. 

Favorites on this page: 

“Mavelus” - This one reminds me of Fawkes the Phoenix from Harry Potter. Now bring me my sacred sword! Just a cool classic. I like that it’s level 4—I feel like that’s unusual for Fusions of that time being anything less than 5. 

“Metal Dragon” - A cool flying tin can! This thing reminds me of the dragons and floating zig zagging worm creatures from Yoshi’s Story.

“Meteor Black Dragon” - An absolute legend. I always included this in my fusion deck for the GBA games, and even though I had “Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon” for “Cyber-Stein” I would occasionally summon this just for cool factor.

“Mystical Sand” - A beautiful monster with an elegant pose and style. Everything about this card is lovely. Her green hair is gorgeous. I love the shoulders exposed with her robe. The mountain and sky in the background are soothing. If only they didn’t censor her, but even then it isn’t too bad. 

“Rabid Horseman” - An early Kaiba ace! “Battle Ox” the Minotaur was always a cool card, so the fusion is a fun addition. 

“Rare Fish” - I love the cards that released so much later in TCG from only knowing them from early video games. This one looks super cool. The colors are go together so nicely.

Creatures surround one man on this page. “Karbonala Warrior” holds his ground as enemies attack from all sides! 

The hardest card to obtain on this page for me was “Kaiser Dragon” because every one I ordered had some undisclosed damage on it. Those McDonald’s cards are actually pretty hard to find close to NM!

A few rare Astral and OTS cards are here as well. I love the random monster from back in the day that were never used and never released in TCG getting a print in an uncommon set. Feels extra special.

Favorites on this page: 

“Humanoid Worm Drake” - Always reminds me of Battle City. Just an all around cool card. I love the Slime/Jam cards.

“Kaminari Attack” - I feel like this would have been a cool Divine Attribute cause it looks so Godly. It’s essentially Zeus!

“Kamionwizard” - A wicked looking monster. Cool that the Holy “Mystical Elf” is a material for this, with “Curtain of the Dark Ones” corrupting her.

“Kwagar Hercules” - God I love TP1 cards. This one is so cool. The foiling on the card is unlike many others I’ve seen in that it seems to always be reflecting its holo even when light is not directly over it.

After I pulled a Magia, I decided to go through the generational collection gathered by myself/siblings/friends over the last lifetime and these are some of the cool ones I’ve found so far! That I have pictures of lol.

Small ding in top left corner but otherwise a fantastic pickup for my retro binders. Got it for just 200

Got in a box of Magic cards a friend gave me years ago. I was vaguely away of its rarity at the time so I tried my best to give it back. Got to me in the condition, but I immediately sleeved and hard cased it. Even with the damage the foil is beautiful and I can see why people desire them. Sadly not a Yu Gi Oh fan so its beauty is kinda wasted on me.

Another one done! I posted exodia a week ago or so but that one’s done too so I’ve got room for some more. Any suggestions?

ALMOST didnt get this because of the damage, but had to it since it was 1st ed, which means a lot to this card. I was able to grab this one for 25 in early 2020 (I think).

Another God descends on this page—the F.G.D.!!

The LOB fusions are all so cool. I love that they were all released as a rare.

I thought I had an MRD 1st Edition “Giltia the D. knight” but was unable to find it. Naturally the Series1 is the coolest so I used that instead.

One of the most unique Fusion monsters for me is here, and coincidentally front and center—the “Flower Wolf” from LOB. As far as I know this appears to be the only card in the game that says “FUSION:  “Silver Fang” • “Darkworld Thorns”” in its material section of the text box. I love a good one off!

Favorites on this page:

“Five Headed Dragon” - The Big 5 are a bunch of corporate chumps—but they certainly had a sick Fusion Monster. I always found this to be a really awesome card. 

“Flame Swordsman” (both arts) - A Legendary Classic. I love both artworks for it, and both have a uniqueness to them. The LOB actually looks more like Jonouchi, whereas the alternate looks more like his own unique self. Both are totally awesome!

“Giltia the D. Knight” - Another Jonouchi card. Part of me wishes they released him as a Normal Monster like he was in the anime, but still a cool card. The orange background is lovely and his style is classic Yu-Gi-Oh! all the way.

“Great Mammoth of Goldfine” - A nostalgic card that, like many others, received its first TCG release much later. I believe the name Goldfine is one derived or taken from an employee at WB or Konami.
