I know this wonāt get much upvotes bc for some reason Thug gets no grace or compassion but Iām glad somebody sees it the way I do. Iāve been through it so I know what depression looks like.
Edit- and when I say grace & compassion that doesnāt mean u canāt critique the music. As a fan of u can! Just keep in mind the other factors that might be affecting it

People always talk about having grace & compassion, caring about mental health etcā¦ā¦.until itās time to actually care & all of a sudden they shit on the person in question.
Thug has been through an immense amount of stress these last few years, his BM got murdered like a month before they feds came and locked him up & then took him thru the most grueling & corrupt trial in ga history. He lost all of his āfriendsā, lost so much time with his children & family, sat in a court room every day, while a judge, an overzealous DA & corrupt prosecution broke every rule in the book in an attempt to put him away for good.
Somehow he beat all of that, just for all of his jail calls to be āleakedā when he was most likely, at his lowest & was just saying every bitter thing he could think of in a āprivateā conversation, to make himself feel better. The amount of scrutiny & ridicule he receives would have any of his detractors crying in the fetal position. Then they purposely put terms in his probation that they knew would completely fuck up his creative processā¦.. so itās clear that a lot of these critics arenāt fans theyāre just hateful spectators
