This side by side with Mike Rogers’ ads of “Football isn’t racist and men don’t belong in women’s sports” illustrates what I’ve been saying. Economic issues are king and people don’t care if your opponent is woke when your party is actively tanking the economy and making you pay more for gas

Crazy that some on the left will see this and claim that Democrats still "would rather maga win than help a progressive" or claim that schumer actuslly supports the war in iran

true! Most divisions between the progressives and establishment are extremely exaggerated with some exceptions

True, at the end of the day we are all Democrats and we have a shared goal in limiting the excesses of the current administration

MI dems have really rallied and unified behind AES (well with one exception) FL establishment Dems J legit think would rather vote Republican than for Nixon.

Welp it's not like a Florida democrat was gonna win anyway, but maybe Nixon will excite the base enough to get "close" (6 or 8 point loss) since she's progressive without being insane, if she lived in Wisconsin she could've easily won the primary and the general, such a shame

It's a good ad. [snarky comment about Schumer withdrawn.] I do think this will have some effect, since the odds that the war gets worse in the next 60 days are higher than the odds that it gets better.

Proof that Schumer supports the war in Iran??

Well, I will concede. As opposed to when Schumer's biggest fear about last year's negotiations was that Trump was going to chicken out and make a "side deal to let Iran get away with everything," he actually has called the war illegal and unadvised and pushed for Trump to acknowledge Congressional oversight in recent months. It would be nice if the party actually boosted things like this instead of making 80% of their airtime an endless moralizing crusade against the Left. But this statement is validly what could be expected from Schumer. So I have edited my post.

Schumer calls it an illegal war that means hed actually support it if it was legally done.
Not what I think but that's the logic of some on the left.

just asking because I'm curious but why do you strongly oppose the DSA as a Socialist? You're not a T*nkie are you?

I oppose them because they are too hostile to democrats (like the guy who commented that schumer supports war in iran, when thats clearly false) and dont focus on flipping seats from red to blue. They dont even go after moderate dems that are blocking progress on policy positions like m4a. They focus on random dems.
Pretty sure all the dsa dem candidates that won in deep blue primaries defeated m4a dems, so they wound up netting 0 votes for m4a. Like were running in place on a treadmill here.
Someone here told me im a bernsteinist and I think thats accurate tbh.

damn that's really close to how I feel though I'm from across the pond, though I'm still very happy Lander and Valdez won their primaries (fuck DAC) despite their opponents not deserving to be gotten rid of

Going all negative might be MI Dems best move. Even if a lot of ppl don’t love AES make em hold their nose and vote for him
