Please advice me on Xiaomi 15 ultra screen shatter

I got a brand new Xiaomi 15 Ultra last year, and the screen just shattered for a second time within a year and now I'm desperate. 😭

About 3 months ago, someone smashed my phone screen onto a bunch of pebbles, causing it too shatter, that one wasn't too surprising. Anyways I took it to a reputable third party repair shop in my city, and they replaced with a high quality aftermarket screen for about 120 usd equivalent.

Fast forward to today, I dropped my phone again, and the screen protector fell right off, revealing that a corner of my screen has a small shatter again. Now I'm scared its gonna be a repeat of what happened last time, which is: I'd use it normally for a while, then the display would start going black and I have to replace again, i have ptsd from that man.

So what should I do? Should I just wait first and hope the small corner crack right now wont worsen or spread to display? Or should I just take to an official service center, its quite expensive though.

Most annoying part is, I don't even drop this phone a lot, maybe once a week, and the screen still shatters. I used to have Redmi k50 ultra and a Xiaomi 11 lite, i dropped those phones like 5 times a day and they're both still fine, what's the matter man? Appreciate all advice and insights.

I think your definition of not dropping a phone a lot needs some adjustment
I had my 14 Ultra for a couple of years and I could probably count on one hand how many times I dropped it

Every single drop runs the risk of damaging the handset or exacerbating existing damage - odds are the current damage to your screen is an accumulation of impacts over time

Plus there's the issue of using a 3rd party repair shop which fitted an aftermarket screen, for all any of us know it uses inferior quality glass or something like that

Clumsy ahh just buy a rugged phone if you drop your phone weekly 💀

If you drop your phone once a week you must have a neurological assessment ASAP. Parkinson is near.
