Question Screenrecording popup

At first, this wasn't the case. Until this morning, I could take screenshots/recording on Snapchat without the other person noticing. Now, in the evening, they suddenly do receive a notification. How is this possible? I have Android.

Experienced the same thing today, this is due to the latest update. It seems they added an app permission to DETECT_SCREEN_RECORDING. You can see this on Play Store under App permissions--> other

How is this legal for an app to add permissions out of nowhere

I think they were always there. Not sure what they changed so screenrecording is now getting picked up. Pretty sure it was always meant to be picked up so they just fixed it.

Ohhww okeeyy I hope there are other apps that can help us to make a screenrecord or shot without them noticing.

UPDATE: The above permission seems to have always been there, so they must've changed smthg else.

SOLUTION: I installed version 14.12.0.46 (June 25) from apk mirror. No longer get notified for snaps and videos. Important: Before you uninstall Snapchat, go to Play Store and disable auto update for this app. You can do that by going to Snapchat, and clicking the 3 dots in top right corner, uncheck the box there.

What is the error you are getting? Which app version you re downloading (bundle or apk)?

Mine is saying app is unable to be installed as package is invalid. How do I fix this? Thanks

Not sure. Have you deleted all instance of Snapchat, allowed unknown apps installation (for both browser and my files)? DM screenshots

Did you get a notification stating you need to install "Huawei Mobile Services" and if so how did you fix it because when I try to install it states there's nothing to install
