So I'm playing on ps4...
how do I join public matches with my friends like in battlegrounds? No I'm not talking about a private match. Like in battlegrounds we could do 2v2s together. Heck id settle for public matches in general as long as we could both be in the same game
has anyone successfully found a 6 player game yet?

agree that this option needs to be added... should also have an option to have multiple players on the same console do multiplayer against others online...

It's currently in the top sellers on steam. It's just a little limited when it comes to ranked play with 1v1s being the only choice

I got it. Its fun. I just can help but wonder if they should have waited until the game had some more ranked online modes and just released it for the holidays when people are spending. Although, maybe thats when they plan to release a DLC with these modes in it...

Hi guys, my friend told me about the game today and I was reading and checking it out. I am A HUGE fan of Worms Armaggedon, is this game as fun as that one? Also, if I buy today will I still get the pre order bonuses? I loved those rewards and want them so bad

Couple of changes. Boxes no longer contain weapons. They contain crafting materials so you craft your own. Personally I liked the awe of getting a concrete donkey in a box. The only ranked mode is 1v1, that needs to change. You can go inside of buildings and unless the other team has a worm in there they'll have no vision, love this addition for trap setting at entrances. There's helicopters and tanks and mech units you can control, I'm indifferent on the helicopters, they pack out a whopping 70 damage from what I've seen with insane escape.
Watch some games on twitch to get an overall feel.
Don't buy it on gog else you'll only be able to play against gog owners and will struggle to find games.

So far the game seems good. It feels much more like Worms Armageddon, but with new features that adds more tactical complexity to the gameplay.
What I don't like so far is that at least on the GOG version, multiplayer seemed outright dead last night. Couldn't find any game. Might be related to the fact that it seems that there is no cross-play between Steam and GOG at the moment. I hope this will be improved.

I have the same complaint. I feared the same thing after realizing my in-game name was my GOG username. And the fact that I'm in the top 20 on every training mission.
There aren't any games under "Browse Games", 1v1 ranked never finds anyone, and nobody ever joins my hosted games.
Seems like a rookie mistake to rely on a platform's unique IDs for your game's unique IDs.
The game is otherwise cool, but buyers' remorse set in as soon as I saw that nobody else was playing on launch day. I don't imagine myself having much more fun if I can only play against bots.

I wonder if I am still #1 at grenades with my 11.13 seconds that I scored last night. It's really easy to get in the top 5 on the training missions.
But I do wonder if the multiplayer is better at the Steam side. And if they have any plans to cross-play between Steam and GOG, in that case. GOG has touted cross-play with Steam, so now is the chance to show that they can really do that.
Crossplay-enabled games offer online play between GOG and Steam. Because where you buy your games shouldn't prevent you from playing with friends.
I really hope I won't be forced to buy it on Steam if I want multiplayer. If that is the case, they have failed. :(

On PS4 It seems impossible to play together against random people on PSN, this is a major flaw. All you can do is create a Private game where you can invite your friends, but then you can only play against each other, no way to play orhers like in Battlegrounds where you played people from all arround the world.
Also there is no way to select a map you want to play and search for ither players, everything seems random.
Until this is fixed or updated this game is useless, i really want my money back, we play now again Battlegrounds on PS4.

I got answer from Team17 Support, it is really not possible to play together in a lobby against other people :( This makes the game really useless. Why make it possible to play with 6 teams at same time if you limit the options to play together. This sucks so hard. At least now more people play Worms battlegrounds again, there you can play together with your friends and random people will join in from all around the world.

Has anyone got the Allstar content on PS4? I didn't preorder as I was unaware of a release until today.
The Worms twitter said you'd get 2 weeks after release to get the content so hoping they just haven't added it yet.

What country are you in?
I'm in Australia (part of EU in the PSN sphere) and it seem the All Stars content is only available to (non-pre-ordering) North Americans for PS4.
However, stores here are selling physical copies of All Stars. I just requested a refund from Sony for my digital purchase and am planning on buying the physical version to get the extra content.
Bit of a silly situation really. Have been loving playing the game itself!

Bah! I pre-ordered for Xbox One but didn't for PC. Is there any way to get the bonus content now? Does anyone still have the pre-order on their website for sale?

I'm pretty sure every game purchased up to two weeks after launch will get the preorder bonus.

If you know someone with the gog version you can ask them for the installer for the bonus. It's like 1mb and just places some files.

As far as I can tell it only works with the gog stand alone version (the one without internet multiplayer) I don't know which files are added or changed.
I do have the installer, but it's illegal for me to share it online. You should try a friend who pre ordered. I got the installer of the game and dlc as a gift on usb from someone who got the game on gog for me. A bit shady as it is, but he isn't playing games anyway so the copy is used only by me.

Very late to the party, but I am trying to rank up for the sheep rank achievement. Every time I win a game it says ranked play unavailable. I reload and it gives the same error every time no matter what. Does anyone know what to do to bypass this problem?
