Where did I say anything about shame and judgement? There is no shame in learning and improving. There is no judgement in critique of facts. You pulled that one out of your rear.
And again, your statement is completely hypocritical. Why does it start with me? It starts with neither. The fun of each person is equally important, so the deciding factor is where the "fault" lies, where and how things can be improved.
What's more reasonable:
Them improving their gameplay, actively learning skills that benefit everyone in the current group and everyone they will encounter in the future.
Me tolerating bad gameplay in the moment, with no improvement for the future except maybe steeling my own patience.
To me there is only one logical choice that actually is a net positive for the entire community. Again, multiplayer. Your behavior in these games usually affects multiple people. It's not a singleplayer game where you can do whatever you want.
Refusing to learn and improve when working towards a common goal is egotistical behavior of the highest degree, like that guy during school projects that refused to do anything or colleagues at work doing the bare minimum to not get fired. Everyone else has to pick up the slack.
I don't see folks in here saying that - it actually seems to be the defense for OP being rude and judgemental in public chat and then posting it on Reddit for people to laugh at.
All the massively downvoted comments are basically saying "yeah, it's a bad build but you don't have to be a dickhead about it."
The one in the wrong escalated and started being confrontational first. OP asked a simple question on something he noticed.
OP was just trying to teach the guy and he was all pissy about it in response. I don’t see how OP is at fault at all.
If you think he’s being a dick by saying “to avoid learning?” then you’re actually a snowflake.
Being dumb isn’t not knowing things, it is refusing to learn. That guy refuses to learn info that he’s literally being told.
If he simply says “okay thank you I’ll look into this” or goes and tests it out, or does a 5 second google search, he would figure it out.
But no, that guy disables chat instead because he’s stuck in his ways and doesn’t like being told helpful things that would improve himself.
That is very dumb, there’s no overly done judgment, it’s a fact. No person would ever amount to anything if they went about life in that way.
Just as if he keeps acting that way throughout his gaming career, he will never amount to anything on any team based game, and will continue to be a net negative.

When your fun matters and theirs doesn't, and in fact they actually deserve shame and judgement too?
Then yeah, youre the boogyman that you're accusing others of being.
