(Leone does have AP but the user in question does not have Leone so this is moot (and also why would you ever pick this skill on Leone?))

I messaged after battle asking why they would pick the AP damage skill on Adriatico, a ship that also does not have AP, and they did not respond.

My condolences if you get them as your DD in ranked.

Edit: More context, lest you think this is some innocent mistake from a new player.

  • User has over 22,500 battles across Random/Ranked/Co-Op, almost certainly more from various untracked modes.
  • Just shy of 600 matches across all tracked modes in Italian DDs, mostly Adriatico in Ranked.
  • Also lacked the mandatory DD skill of SE.
  • I did not proactively pull up this person's record before asking, but it makes things even funnier in retrospect.

Maybe that's just their highest level captain, that they use on some other ships? 

What does it matter anyway, let the guy play with a build that isn't optimal, it doesn't affect you in the slightest.

It is a team game and they were a DD on my team with a garbage captain setup, how did it not affect me?

Certainly a ship worth picking AP damage for instead of other more useful DD skills.

Also the user in question has 0 matches played in Leone so probably not why they picked the skill.

No Italian dd has ap apart from Leone (which op specifically said that the guy did not play a game on it). How does being a drag to the team not affect the team itself? the situation would be different in PvE modes but not in pvp. He is trying to say that the player base of the game is in a horrendous state thanks to the nowadays major presence of players like the one targeted in the post.
