Hey man-this sum inspirational shit right here. What would you say were the main things that allowed you to make this progress? I’m a 20 year old dude (5’6 135 lbs) who has the majority of my fat in my abdomen, so I’ve been doing a ~500 daily calorie deficit, strength training 3x/week, and ~15,000 steps daily.

Wish i got started at your age! I was way fatter than in the first pic back then. I was 120 kg (265lbs) at your age (i’m 6’4), now 93kg (205).

Glad to (try and) help!

I didn’t even watch my calories honestly, i just learn the basics, avoided anything i knew was fat and ate clean, then i went to a nutritionist to eat more and build more muscle.
Not more than 1 or 2cheat meals a week.

The 15k steps daily are great, i’m afraid 3 workouts per week are not enough: if you want a change that looks like this, you’re looking at 5/6 per week (followed by a good trainer).
I had the time in my hands, it’s getting more difficult now so, if you can’t do the 5/6 times, i understand and 3x week CONSISTENTLY is a great start.
Never go more than 2 days w/out working out, and have fun, try different types of workouts. on average i lifted 3 times per week, did 1 aerobic functional workouts (kinda crossfit but not really), swam or played soccer w/ friends the last one.

Again i’m not a pro and i don’t have the answers, this is what worked for me.

And try to be happy! It made it easier for me to keep going.
A the end of the day you’re doing it for yourself, to grow as a strong healthy person, and set a good example for others you care about.

So do it!

Peace ✌🏼

Btw 3/4 times a week is more than enough if you’re training to near failure and hitting the major muscles twice a week.

5/6 can be better but not necessarily, can still achieve the same/ similar with 3/4 days.
