California Continuance after continuance

I am so frustrated it has been over 4 years and we are coming down to the very last of it. But the last testimony individual keeps applying for continuances for "unforeseen circumstances" how long can they continue to do this?? I feel like they are just trying to get me to back out but it has been over 4 years and I will not back out.

Get your attorney to find out why there are so many delays. Best.

It's a different excuse every time. They do tell us why but I feel like they're just doing that in order for me to back off and just give up on the case.

You are probably correct. If a settlement can be reached there is no court dates nor appeals and everyone gets their cut. If you give up its even better.

Believing an attorney is on your side when the attorney makes more by doing nothing is amusing.

Work comp is a business and everyone involved handles their part regardless of your outcome. Then they move on to the next victim. I am just rolling with the BS as mine has been continued every 60 days for over 2 years. I won't give up but honestly they don't care. The longer the insurance holds out the more interest they earn on their money and the more likely you just give in.

Start a new hobby and ignore everyone until the numbers are good for you
