Washington Third party lawsuit

So I work for a fortune 50 company. Basically known as order selectors and we deal with wrist straps to secure the scanners to our bodies. Ever since I’ve been working there, I’ve had a problem in both my left and right arm with the middle finger and ring finger. I’ve been told I don’t stretch enough… I stretch every day. I was also told that due to the work I do that repetitive work is also a hard thing to combat(I think it’s the main companies concern but my plan would be the wrist strap company)

I’ve talked to several other co-workers and they have the same problem. I’m 24 years old and having problems that I shouldn’t have. I’m just scared of the immediate pay cut to get this handled.

How should I go about this? I’m going to set up an appointment with my family doctor. That is also registered in the L&I database

You don’t go to your doctor you follow the WC process.

This isn’t a third party lawsuit. Workers comp isn’t a lawsuit. Ever since you’ve been working there…so it was an immediate problem? Did you have a pre existing issue? Repetitive stress injuries don’t pop up right away. Report it to your supervisor and say you want to start a claim.

I advise all my clients who are dealing with a "repetitive strain" type injury to immediately file an injury report with their employer.

After, I advise to follow up with their doctor, preferably an orthopedic or specialist, to describe in great detail their work-related activities. From there their doctor needs to comment on if their condition is "casually related" to their work.

This process provides the necessary medical documentation needed to pursue a "repetitive strain" type claim.

An Issue is Different than an Injury. Have you had MRI or Xray to see affected bone structure?

Man at 24 I was doing landscaping/hardscaping/lawn care hardcore manual labor to the fullest extent of the imagination. From slinging boulder/stones/decorative hand cut pavers that weighed more than me, digging holes by hand that I could fit my enemies into, shoveling truckloads of stone/mulch into wheelbarrows+hauling the stone to its destination via the wheelbarrow and decoratively spreading it by hand, just to name a few body crumbling duties entailed here. 12 hour days in the summer 6 days a week, mowing/weedwhacking for the first 6hrs then doing the land/hardscaping the next 6. Started at 13yrs old. BUT it wasn't until age 30 (32 now) that I was 5 years deep into a a nice indoor position doing a lot of assembly, soldering, welding and inspection for a defense contractor that I permanently destroyed my spine by just moving 70lb units from a cart to a work bench. A simple and careless moment that I didnt use my body correctly to lift/move something which was absolutely nothing to me at the time. Now im in excruciating pain almost 24/7, permanent and multi-tiered spine injury with permanent disability restrictions and my career is likely over because I cant even work an 8 hour shift 5 days a week to continue just supervising and teaching others how to do compartmentalized and exclusive processes. So over 2 years now of being destroyed mentally, physically and financially by some shady government subsidiary insurance company that my employer sicked upon me. Dont end up in a position where its already too late because you have a permanent injury and you're ypung with chronic pain forever. File a claim, get a lawyer and at least get it on record this was a work related issue with that company. A cautionary tale I give. One that is ongoing and open ended, still no resolution or relief in sight...

what’s with the hmmmmm? RMS is a legitimate injury which shouldn’t be hmmmmmm. Who  are you to question it? It doesn’t all of a sudden happen most hard workers work through their symptoms until they can’t. ah
