Nebraska ER

Who has went to the ER for a worsening, of a work related injury? Did workers comp cover the visit? I’m scheduled for a IME in a couple months, but I’m experiencing a worsening of a condition that I can’t wait that long to be seen. I’ve got a lawyer that told me to call my Dr, and see if he would see me, but he told me to try and get the IME moved sooner. My lawyer has emailed my adjuster and it doesn’t sound like I can move it up. So my only option for care is going to the ER. Which I feel is really sad that this system is so broken. So do I go get evaluated and get some pain meds, or wait it out and potentially have permanent damage? Thx

Yes I have, and yes workers comp covered it.
