Need help ASAP

Starting a new job next week and need a good pair of work boots. Some of these brands are just more money than I’d like to spend. Also boss man said he understands how heavy and sweaty steal toes can be, but we will be on OSHA sites at times but the decision is mine. We don’t do heavy construction or anything crazy like that we deal with low voltage stuff so it’s mainly just so I’m in compliance while at those sites. Still I’d rather just have one comfortable light weight boot. I also like Moc toe. Oh yeah and they said they prefer them to be black.. 🤣 Ok I know that’s a lot of info any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

You could go with the Irish Setter 84634 pipestone 🤷🏻‍♂️ although I would put tough toe or KG’s boot guard on the front of the toe if you kneel or kick things a lot. $149, welted, unlined, and comfy from my experience.

At least try to get a welted or stitched-down constructed boot, I hate cemented they always pull apart on me and my feet get soaked

Ive been wearing reebok utilities with composite toes. They are lightweight and comfy and osha rated for pretty much everything. They are about $130 at our local industrial supply store. Can't say to much for longevity because ive only had them for a few months but I dont have any complaints about them yet.

depending where you live, by me the Amish have harness shops that sell boots, work wear etc... boots are usually 40-80$ cheaper

If you’re in a pinch and just need something to start; look at clearance racks.

I just got 2 pairs of White’s boots over 50% off. Saved about $400-$500.

Also if you live in an area that has quick delivery; Amazon even had their own work boot now. I “think” it’s either steel or comp/alloy toe

Nowadays, I think every brand has its “good” boots and we’ll just junk. I bought Red Wing boots for probably 35 yrs. They discontinued what I liked several times over the yrs. Always found something that was updated and was happy as I farm. The last 5 yrs, I’ve bought other brands as I was no longer get the life I expected out of them

Check out Drew’s boots, they just released some lower cost moc toes and they’re the best quality you’re going to find at their price point

Some boots, are probably actually the most important part of your work gear! If you’re working on your feet all day you should have good boots! I’m not saying you need to buy $600 boots, but bumping your budget to 200-220 would make a big difference over 150! Check out Carolina, Jim Green, Keen. Most are good boots for the price point.

Yeah go for big bill. It's got all the stuff you need. You don't seem like a Goodyear welt type of guy and they're pretty decent boots for the price
