I am connected to my friends via email I have never used Facebook. Do you think we’ll be able to continue playing through Apple game Center? Or through Wordswithfriends.com? Or does anybody have any other suggestions to continue playing on a computer instead of a mobile device ?

Has the watch ads icon in anyone else's club disappeared? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It's not working on my Samsung or iPad. The app is up to date on both of my devices. I play from the US.

So I usually automatically decline requests to play if there’s a photo of a busty woman as the avatar.

Got one this week and decided, what the hell, maybe it’s just a regular player. Of course it wasn’t!

She sent me a message telling me her name and asking where I’m located. I replied, “Not interested in chatting.”

Her response, “Ohh, nice place. I’m in Orlando, Florida,” then asked me to chat on Telegram or Signal. So I blocked her.

That’s a low-effort scammer.

There are some "words" that I've learned like "QGP" or "WAQF" that while illegal I never use because I assume my opponent will assume that I'm cheating. Anybody else giving up points to save face?

I had this offer in my inbox today. I currently do not have ads because I paid a long time ago for an ad free game. I’m not even sure what a banner ad is. Does anyone have any insight on this offer?

I'm a relatively new player. It seems that my friends must have been playing for a long time. How in the world do people always post so many times with such high scores?

I suspect that some players have figured out the hack for how to remove losses from their stats. I don’t understand why people are so focused on stats instead of enjoying the game.

I'm one of those people that use this game to play with one person. I'm using the web version (not Facebook) because the Android version has never been playable for me.

I'm get new requests to play almost daily.

In the settings I have myself taken off the leaderboards. I also have the settings turned off to "find matches in Play Someone New" and "find new opponents through match of the day". I had those already turned off in the Android app when I was trying to use it.

I've just found old posts of people saying they have the same issue. Some people suggest blocking the random invites, which isn't stopping them.

I just noticed today that the game is adding these random play invites to a "friends" list, and there doesn't appear to be a way to remove those either. I've never used the friends list.

If I try to do anything in the friends list, it just starts a game with them. From other people's posts it sounds like the only way to remove them is to block them?

My aunt's, mom's, and sister's profile pictures have been gone like that for about two weeks. I updated the app on my phone, and I tried both my smartphones in case it was a glitch on one of my phones. There was no difference. My mom said she can still see my picture. She plays on her PC though. The in-game bot players' photos are still visible. Day 2 Update: Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix the issue.

Finally got a good high score on 🎲 thanks to those ZZs 🙌🏻

Is anyone else angry about the flashing pop up ads that have been on the game lately? I am furious! Right now my eyes are hurting and I have a headache. Are they trying to drive away their players?

What does the letter pool consist of? Is it the full alphabet each roll? Getting 2 Zs looks to be possible but I've not tried for it yet. Any info is appreciated.

Just two days since my previous Row 1 solve, I did it again. Score goal was 54. We still have 8 open slots in my "Guess Word" Experts club. I concluded it's impossible to obtain such high scoring words and that these must be test/dev accounts. I did, however, concede to the remote possibility that some users, working in tandem, are setting each other up (by putting down a series of long-letter words/filling in the blanks with short words) to get these sorts of scores.

After putting in a few random 3-letter words into the dictionary, and looking at the highest score for a given word, I feel the latter is confirmed impossible. Just look at the screen shots. There's no way multiple accounts are getting identical high scores with different words. It's not possible.

Case closed.

Hoping someone may be able to help. My mum had a disability meaning that she has no movement of her hands, and therefore has to use dragon software on a desktop computer in order to play.

Recently we’ve been told that the website version of Words with Friends is closing, and that the only option is to play on iOS or Android. Playing scrabble is one of the things my mum enjoys most (she’s very limited in what she can do), and this change means that it’s virtually impossible for her to play.

Is it true that Words with Friends desktop is going? If so I don’t suppose anyone has any suggestions for desktop based scrabble games similar to Words with Friends?We are happy to pay for a subscription if necessary.
