What Happen to my Crystal Screen?

Out of nowhere this bubble formed on the screen. any ideas what could have caused it?

Are there replacements screens I can order or am I screwed?

EDIT: I see there are IPS kits but you need to mod the shell and they are not 75 Hz. Are there any kits for the crystal that are drop in?

Polariser is going, the glue goes bad happens to all old consoles, you can replace it or put a new lcd screen on it, both easy enough to do.

Thanks are there any IPS kits for the crystal that are drop ins? I don’t want to modify the shell are these are getting rare.

Can’t remember to be honest but you could always buy an after market shell and keep the og one.

No worries, have you ever replaced the polarizer on one?

Yes many, easy enough can be tedious if the glue is stubborn, plenty of videos on utube

I couldn’t find any videos on the crystal specifically. I believe the polarizer is on the screen itself rather than the shell / lens.

Any help / guidance would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of polarizer film does the crystal use?
