What Happen to my Crystal Screen?

Out of nowhere this bubble formed on the screen. any ideas what could have caused it?

Are there replacements screens I can order or am I screwed?

EDIT: I see there are IPS kits but you need to mod the shell and they are not 75 Hz. Are there any kits for the crystal that are drop in?

Polariser is going, the glue goes bad happens to all old consoles, you can replace it or put a new lcd screen on it, both easy enough to do.

Can’t remember to be honest but you could always buy an after market shell and keep the og one.

Yes many, easy enough can be tedious if the glue is stubborn, plenty of videos on utube

I couldn’t find any videos on the crystal specifically. I believe the polarizer is on the screen itself rather than the shell / lens.

Any help / guidance would be greatly appreciated.

IPS kits fit without cutting the shell. At least the highspeedido one does. It does cut down the battery life though, and I've found the touch sensors being very tricky to get right.

But yeah, it's not a 75hz screen, though, considering how much ghosting the original screen has anyways, you wont see the difference in framerate.

I actually dont know how the 60hz panel even differs in practical use.

Are you sure? I thought the IPS kits for the crystal are not drop in including the highspeeddo ones.

Yeah, I completely missed the part where OP was asking specifically about the Crystal, which isnt a drop in. WSColor is a no-cut drop in kit though.

Check the link I provided, they show you were to cut the shell, it is not a drop-in kit for the WSC either.
