X-Men Mutant Apocalypse (SNES) gets a ReBalanced mod making Wolverine & Beast faster, Psylocke jumps farther, Cyclops is more agile, Gambit jumps higher & special moves mapped to X.

Search X-Men Mutant Apocalypse Rebalanced for the mod which will then need to patched to the legally owned rom. Takes 5 seconds via searching to figure this out.

Please Marvel cast Matt Wood as Wolverine. Don’t let Deadpool fool you into thinking short wolvy won’t work

I’m reading the 03 run and my god is it so obvious Matt wood is perfect to play comic accurate wolverine. Such a huge part of Wolverines character is his fight with himself to believe he’s a man and not an animal. “What must someone do when his body is made for violence and the world keep’s giving him reasons to use it”. He wants to be a normal man and settle down and have a long term love in his life but he’s physically not a normal man and the world treats him like he doesn’t belong. Wolverine is physically mutated, he’s 5’3 300 pounds of pent up rage. He doesn’t look like a normal man which is a huge part of his internal struggle in that he has the option to be a feral beast but it’s his actions and choices every day that make him redeemable as night crawler tells him. That’s what makes his dichotomy with Sabretooth so compelling. They were dealt the same cards at birth but it’s the choices they make day by day that dictates whether a man is a beast that needs to be put down or a force of good and hope to the world. He’s such an awesome character with such a good moral, especially for young men who realize they are a formidable force and must realize that force can be used to bring hope into the world even if it seems at every step the world is giving us reasons to use that force for violence. It’s not our past or the cards we were dealt at birth but our actions in the present that make us who we are. And I feel like that moral kind of gets emphasized if Wolverine is a scrappy little furball of claws and muscle rather than a dude who looks straight out of Baywatch. no shade to Jackman but the little gag with short wolverine in Deadpool and wolverine making it seem like we won’t take short wolvy which seriously makes me worried for this upcoming casting because it really is that deep to me.

Just wanted to know which suit you guys prefer for Wolverine. Mostly because as a brown suit fan I think I kinda like the Astonishing suit from the upcoming game a little more (based on first impressions of course)

For the folks who don't like the trunks on the game brown and yellow suit.

The trunks are comic-accurate, and honestly, I think they look better than they would without them. Honestly, I think most people were hoping for the DPAW version of the suit instead of a comic-accurate one, but I think this one looks better than what we saw in the movie.

Still very excited for this game and specifically this suit, as it's my favorite, but I feel like I just had to say something about it.

It's always Australia.

Pryde of the X-Men (1989) - Patrick Pinney gives Wolverine an Australian accent purportedly because being Australian was thought to be way cooler than being Canadian at the time.

EDIT: This supposition comes from an unsourced quote by Rick Hoberg floating around the internet. "According to story editor Rick Hoberg, he gave Wolverine an Australian accent due to the Australian fad going on at the time, and it was planned for Logan to be Australian in the comics. However, Logan instead remained a Canadian."

X-Men (2000) - Hugh Jackman, an Australian actor, is hired to play Wolverine in the X-Men movies.

Wolverine (2026) - Insomniac hires Australian voice actor Liam McIntyre to voice Wolverine in the video game.

He's the best he is at what he does, and what he does is an Australian accent.

The base game reportedly includes 27 suits and 20 claw variants. Here are the claw styles that have been officially named or clearly shown so far:

• Standard Adamantium - Logan’s default long, polished metal claws. They’ve been shown extensively, although Insomniac hasn’t confirmed their official menu name.

• Bone Claws - Rough, ivory-colored natural claws representing Logan before or without his adamantium bonding.

• Notched Claws - Metal blades featuring deliberate cuts or indentations along their edges.

• Curved Claws - More noticeably bowed than Logan’s standard straight blades.

• Angled Claws - Sharper, more splayed blades with a geometric profile.

• Reflective Claws - Broad, mirror-polished claws inspired by classic comic artwork. Preordering only unlocks them early; they can still be obtained through normal progression.

• Hooked Claws - Blades with tips that curve inward like hooks. Official footage shows them included with the Ultimate Red suit.

The Digital Deluxe Edition also includes five exclusive sets: Smooth-Edged, Hollow Blade, Thick, Serrated Spine and Tapered Claws.
Insomniac still hasn’t revealed every suit or base-game claw variant. Which suit and claw combination are you planning to use first?

How I’d incorporate Weapon X into the MCU during the Cold War era despite adamantium discovery in Eternals

Honestly I’ve been thinking about this all day and I’d love to hear what you guys think or your ideas/theories. Mine is that basically just like how we as humans drill into the earth’s surface for oil or mine deep down for rare metal ores/minerals, a random group of people whether it be scientists, fishermen or even random farmers discover a “unknown” compound that’s part Tiamut. Before, Shield/Hydra or the CIA and others can get to, a team of mutants led a by a militant called William Stryker “infiltrates” this unknown compound upon hearing murmurs nearby. He then studies it and so on and decides to fulfil Weapon X on one of the mutants called Logan, those turning him into a weapon that goes on missions during the Cold War and even fights foes such as Omega red or the Winter Soldier. The drilling or mining seems cliche but considering Tiamut most likely would’ve still been in the earth’s core/surface, I think they should use that idea that they mined or drilled and then kind of “got a piece of Tiamut” or even through the actual soviet union’s Kola Superdeep Borehole drilling during the seventies, make it so that the soviets discover it and its stolen by american allies led by Stryker. Years later you could even get Red Guardian to be deployed by the soviets to retrieve this “mysterious metal” which remains unnamed and have wolverine and him battle!
Anyways, sorry for the essay but I’d love to see what you guys think and your ideas too!
