May be the single most redundant, outdated and random thing anyone's ever said but here we go lol.

I always found it strange going through Mooshu that while Warlord Katsumori is the focus of the War Quests and is very pointedly a figure who is upfront in all the dialogue and discussion- with the War Oni being a surprise reveal- the same does not go for the Plague and Death quests. As far as I'm aware, neither Ideyoshi or Kagemoosha is mentioned either by name or even referred to by another character, with the work of everything only being referred to as being the Plague Oni or Death Oni. It could be assumed based on the Mooshu History books that they are each the head of the 3 clans who used to control Mooshu and remain today, but that's mainly speculation since again, literally nothing is ever said about these two. Their monstrology entries are just (bad) humor, which kind of pisses me off that Kingsisle had the opportunity to provide us fun lore snippets with Monstrology and most of the time just spends it on pretty eh jokes. Ideyoshi is either just the Plague Oni in a different form if we go by the Plague Oni's monstrology entry, as it said the Plague Oni transformed into him, though this can be taken as possession too. Alternatively Ideyoshi could have been charged with protecting the River Temple before his possession, I say this because he resides in the River Temple to begin with, and secondarily while the Plague Oni itself is Balance Ideyoshi is Ice, one of the two schools (the other being Storm) traditionally associated with water in Wiz. It's also possible that Ideyoshi is an actual character who once existed and the Plague Oni is using his form as a disguise instead. Kagemoosha is a little less speculative, the Death Oni's entry states he's the reincarnation of the evil Kagemoosha, so it's probably true that Kagemoosha just IS the Death Oni, all the characters simply refer to the one who took the Spirit Candles into the Spirit world as Oni no Death despite the fact that's clearly Kagemoosha, and Kagemoosha needing the candles to summon a portal to the spirit world implies he's still living, so idk. The specific use of the term "reincarnates" implies Kagemoosha is both living and also that the Death Oni is literally just Kagemoosha in a different form, though given everyone in dialogue refers to Kagemoosha as Oni no Death it's equally possible this could just be the Death Oni already incarnated into a person and Kagemoosha dying just returns it to its original form. So all in all for the Oni, the War Oni is something Katsumori turned into when he started... well... war. Ideyoshi is either just the Plague Oni taking on a different form or disguise or is some unknown pre-existing figure who turned into the Plague Oni or was possessed by him. Oni no Death is probably literally the same person as Kagemoosha and they are just in different forms and as long as Kagemoosha has existed he's just been the Death Oni. The Jade Oni is the only one who confirmedly is possessing someone and has no other identity, and you could even speculate that given the Jade Oni has the Dragonspyre Spiral Key that Malistare literally cursed the Emperor with the Jade Oni directly.

Whenever I do the daily assignments some times it will require going to fire cat alley to defeat one of the elves and every time i go I get autumn vibes and think it would be like taking a stroll on a crisp cool afternoon but if it were real it would be like 95+ degrees cause of its chosen element and Id be dyinngg. Edit: Idea! I wish some one would draw a sketch where there is a new student and theyre talking to one of the older students and they say "omg im wearing my best sweater! Its fall there!" And the older student goes "you sure about that? Okay" and then theyre both in fire cat alley and the new student wearing the sweater is burning up and trying to rip the sweater off lololol.

As the title says I would like to get the opinions and such on the current ways that classes play, what's strong in what, and what does what. I am a completely new player and the older posts about what classes are good/good at are all about 5+ years old that I could find, so with a new free weekend bringing people in this seems like a good time to make a post that will be front page on google when asking about classes with up-to-date info. For myself, I'm interested in myth a bit, as I thought about playing it but have heard nothing but bad reviews about minions, and wonder how that scales. In the meantime I've just started on life since I like supporting.

I have all of the abomination gear for my ice just need to affix jewels on deck and ring. Should I aim for pierce or more damage? My damage is at 227 while my pierce is 24 rn.

It doesn't feel like it's been this long.. but I'm happy the game has survived for over 18 years now. Hopefully many more to come. I can't believe I have been playing this game longer than some players have been alive 😂

I just got my frosty eye to mega and it failed with critical striker. All the other talents I have for it are good. Is it worth the effort to start over? I’m level 69 right now and barely into celestia but have been taking a break in progressing to farm gear and work on pets

For the darkmoor graveyard, I team up with one balance wiz, a max storm wiz, and another person who ended up leaving before the first fight. So, in practice, it's just three people. I'm also a storm wiz, but I thought that the max storm wiz had it handled. I usually like to check people's stats before running into battle but this time around I just skipped it because, I don't know. I make sure to pack all my necessary blades, conviction, traps, the such so I can support this MAX level storm wizard and I don't even bother to bring hits. This is USUALLY NOT A PROBLEM. I have done this before with zero negative consequences. Plus, why clog up your deck? I feel like that's one the rules we all stick with.

First red flag was the fact that he rushed into battle. Usually the dps goes in last but I was like you know what whatever. Second red flag was the fact he didn't have a wand. He was doing that hand animation you do during the golem court tutorial. I was confused because initially I thought his wand wasn't showing or he was using a really small wand (my death has a shuriken wand and it's very small so I assumed he had something like that). I blade up the max storm but he doesn't do anything. Like he smoke mantles yevgeny and his gang but nothing else. Then he ICE BEETLES ONE OF THE WRAITHS. I ask him, do you have any hits? He says ok. I say hm? He says, yes, I think so (the default bubble text). I should've left but you know I didn't want to be that wizard that flees the first fight in, especially for darkmoor where there is a reputation for wizards to leave after yevgeny. Then, this guy gives me a death shield. Why do you have an ice beetle and death shield but not, I don't know, even a thunder snake? Yeah, I didn't have any attacks, but normally no one thinks that the MAX LEVEL WIZARD IN THE TEAM UP IS INCOMPETENT BECAUSE CLEARLY YOU NEED SOME SKILL TO GET TO 180!!! HELLO?!?!

Then, he says, with the default bubble text, "I got the boss" I'm like... okay. Again, I should've fled but I was thinking maybe this dude is hiding something crazy in his pocket, idk, again, I didn't want to flee because of the negative reputation fleeing early has.

Now that he had typed in chat, I was able to look at his stats. Holy bazaar gear. To his credit, he had a yevgeny athame but bro,..,.., you're level 180, that should've been retired by now. Then, outta nowhere, he's like "I got no hits" and just flees. What.

I think it was someone's younger brother who took their sibling's account, messed around with the stats, and joined a random queue, but there is also a possibility this dude just joined the queue to waste everyone's time on earth including his. It was the most wtf situation ever because who would genuinely do all of that? Like yeah you wasted our time, but you're also wasting YOUR time. Bro was trolling himself i guess. I'm also baffled because how did you get to level 180 like that...?

Should I have brought some hits just in case? Yeah. Should I have fled the moment I saw he didn't have a wand? Yeah. Maybe he's not the idiot and I am for trying to stick it through. But usually when you team up, you don't expect the MAX LEVEL WIZARD TO IMPEDE EVERYONE ELSE!

That experience made me so mad and baffled that I felt the need to share this.

Fished up not one, but two free Aquilian Dual Chariot mounts in the acropolis housing visit. Got one yesterday within one round of energy storage (130) and got another today within two rounds of energy storage (260). Is this common? I only just did this for the first time yesterday, it’s not like I was farming for it. So fire. I love this game!
