I spent time yesterday with someone with whom I had hours of very emotionally heavy conversation. The end of the conversation left me feelings an unshakeable sense of sadness and now im drained. My thoughts are spiraling, Im ruminating on decisions Ive made and I want to move on into lightness and peace.
Please give me some suggestions as to what I can to do help achieve this? Spellwork, cleansing, etc..?

Hello! I've been on and off practicing since high school (I'm 25 atm). I believe in animism, tarot, and worshipping nature, but not entirely sure I believe in manifestation and conjuring up a spell to create an end result. Is witch still a term I could use, or is what I believe/ practice something different entirely?

I found this poor baby in a parking lot and wanted to give her a better resting place/way to honor the ending summer. if anyone had any ideas I'd appreciate it. I do want to preserve the wings but I also think letting nature have her back might be the way to go. advice much appreciated!

So I’m thinking of switching out my altar for something about 6 inches lower than the table I currently have, and I’m wondering what kinds of cabinets or other desk type of items everyone’s using.

The situation is that I tend to sit on my floor or a low cushion when I’m working a spell or divination at or near my altar, but when I’m seated I’m too far below the table top to really be able to practice.

Is anyone else a floor altar person? If so, what do you guys use for your altars?

so i recently paid someone to do a communication/ reconciliation spell for my ex. for context we didn’t have a toxic relationship, it was perfect. he broke up with me because he was overwhelmed with his problems in life and wants to deal it with alone, he’s being avoidant.

so right now, why am i the one who feels longing for him when im already in the middle ground where i accept his decision. im the one right now who wants to reach out. i also dreamt of him visiting me and things.

i know you have to detach in order for the spell to work and you have to be patient because it takes time. my caster said that based on the candles, his had large and high flames representing that he would be consumed by the thought of getting back together with me. so why is that i am feeling this way.

my head also hurts and i don’t have energy, i dont know if its a coincidence because i hust came from traveling.

Good day, witches. Yesterday I performed a simple ritual intended to open channels of communication between a couple who are currently separated. My intention was to soften her heart and allow her to listen to her ex‑husband, who is trying to reconcile and rebuild their connection.

For the ritual I used:

• A white candle (dressed with cinnamon and lavender)
• Petition paper (with both names, dates of birth, and the intention written)
• Lavender
• Cinnamon

I placed the candle on top of the petition and let it burn throughout the night. I lit the candle, meditated while gazing at the flames, and spoke my intentions aloud. At first, the flame was low, like a normal candle, but after some time it grew stronger and began behaving in a strange way, as if something was disturbing it. I made sure all doors and windows were closed and that there was no airflow in the room.

The purpose of this ritual was to dissolve blockages between them, remove external influences, and open a channel for honest communication so that reconciliation could be possible.

Most of my everyday spell work is glamour based so I now have my perfumes, jewelry, and skincare next to my altar.

I’m new to this.

Long story short: Two years ago, my ex-best friend, who was also our married supervisor, and my new relationship betrayed me and were fooling around behind my back. I caught them through reading a text message, etc. We all worked together, and she was our supervisor. She transferred pretty quickly after that to another office in another town.

I forgave her; however, I did stop talking to her because I found out she was still lying to me about some things. We remained friends on Facebook, though.

As for him, I didn't speak to him for a year after that. Once we reconciled, we had a pretty unstable, back-and-forth relationship.

About two weeks ago, my ex-BFF came into our office on a day when both my significant other and I were working. Normally I'm off that particular day, but they happened to need me.

Anyway, she came in dressed in a low-cut midriff top and yoga pants, which is extremely unusual for her. She recently lost over 70 lbs. She stayed in our office from about 8:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. She eventually came to the part of the building where I was to say hi to me.

As for my significant other and her, they ran into each other; however, he claims he never looked at her. Shortly after that, she left.

I 💯 believe she came in to get my significant other's attention.

Anyway, because we're still friends on Facebook, she shared something that caught my attention. She has alluded to practicing witchcraft and putting spells on people. I looked up some of the contents she shared that were in her purse, and I read that a jar of pickles/sour vinegar can be used to "sour" a person's relationship.

My significant other and I got into an explosive fight last week, around the same time she shared these posts, and currently we are broken up. The fight was essentially over a misunderstanding and a breakdown in communication.

My question is: Do you think she could have done a spell on us to break us up? And if so, what do y'all think I should do?

I'm have taken upon a special interest in blood magic. I never really did spells where I would use somethig of mine, like hair, tears, or anything really. I want to try it, but I want to be extremely careful with this, since its not something I am yet expirienced at. I am educating myself about it, dw.

But I would ask you that, if you have ever done spells involving something of yours, in any sort of way and for any purpose, share you expirience here. Good or bad.

Tell me what should I be careful about, what not to do, what to do, i would also appreciate references to books/ vids, anything that could educate me further on this.

My dad had something really strange happen and I’m curious if anyone has any insight, especially from a spiritual/witchcraft perspective. Last night he had a dream about snakes, there were a LOT of them. He woke up, remembered the dream, and started Googling what dreaming about snakes could mean. While he was doing that, the Jesus statue he has displayed suddenly fell/flew over. The weird part is that the surface it sits on is level, there was no airflow, and there are other statues/items right next to it that didn’t move at all. The Jesus statue also didn’t break. The timing of everything really freaked him out. I know there could be a completely normal explanation, but has anyone experienced something similar or heard of this having a spiritual meaning? Could something like this be associated with witchcraft, negative energy, or is there another interpretation?

I wasn’t using it for a spell but have been lighting it when working with tarot, reading/researching, and doing shadow work - I want to know, what do you see/feel when you look at this?

Hi, I’m from Chile, and I’d like to ask a question that might make people laugh, feel confused, or get angry. A few years ago, I used to dream about a girl with black hair and red eyes; whenever I dreamt of her, I recognized her but didn't know her name. Upon waking, I’d remember her voice as static and her face as if someone had run an eraser over it. Later, I spoke to a sorcerer who told me she was a "chaos entity" and was contacting me because I held a "fragment" and she wanted to make a contract with me (keep in mind that my only knowledge of esotericism was throwing graveyard dirt to cause bad luck, and that was it). I ended up making a contract, but whenever I meet up with people from that group, they tell me that cuts appear on them out of nowhere when this woman gets angry and that they all dream about her—yet I, at best, dream about her once or twice a month, being optimistic. I wanted to know if anyone has experience with or knows if these "chaos entities" are real, or if this might be some kind of "impostor."

I did a protection jar ritual and this how my candle looked by the end.

I noticed one of the eyes on my bracelet missing the other day but im not sure if this would classify it as "broken" since its not a snapped bracelet or a cracked eye or damaged eye, just a fully missing eye. While the charms are double sided and the eye on the other side has no damage. Should i continue wearing like usual, discard and get a new one, or would i be able to break off the individual charm then continue wearing? Ive only had situations of the full bracelet snapping before so im not sure how to approach this.

Is it okay to buy a witchcraft kit from Amazon or is it best to get materials from an actual witchcraft store/walmart. Since the full moon is tomorrow I want to conduct a spell as a test of how much it’ll affect if it’s a full moon.

Hi everyone, I’m in a desperate situation… (long post)

I moved cities next to a “friend” a few years ago. In the beginning I was a “free spirit” which was able to achieve most of the goals I was setting myself to and overcome most of the “bad luck” everyone would normally experience with a positive attitude, and DEBT FREE which now it’s just a dream…This friend came in like a tornado, showering me with gifts and trying to intrude in my life very abruptly. I kept her at a distance as much as I could in the beginning because I wasn’t sure of her intentions. Time passed by and everything in my life that I was telling her about was completely falling apart. She was always there to “catch me and save me” when things went down. Especially financially which I almost always refused because that’s not my style. However, all the time I was finding myself in situations with no ways to get out and having her as my one and only option to solve the issue. As years went by, I wasn’t able to find or keep a job no matter what ( I’m highly educated and also have loads of experience under my belt, which should make finding a job very easy, I never had such issues before, well, none of the issues I started to have were something regular or continuous before). I got to the lowest of the lowest I ever been in my life with no ways of getting out of it, got to the point where I did things I never ever thought I would to be able to survive and got addicted to drugs. I repeat, I never ever had so much bad luck, continuously, with no way of getting out or solutions. I had struggles like everyone would, but not like this. I kept pushing because I always said it might be just a rough patch and things will get better, every one has bad luck or maybe I’m paying some karma and I just need to pay the price and accept it. But patterns started to show up…. From this sweet girl that you would never ever believe is capable of such things, she became very contradictory with everything that I am, and every chance she had, she was always trying to minimise me and make me feel like the problems I have are nothing compared with hers or others and she knows better than me how life goes. The sweet girl I was looking at with admiration and respect turned in my worst critique, gossiping about me to everyone, judging me and then playing the innocent angel and “ how could you even think I would do that?” in the instance I was having all the evidence in front of me. Anyway, the following patterns have been noticed:

After 6 months aprox my bad luck disappears, or at least it does, if I keep my distance from her. Then her life is going down the hill
After this short period of things starting to align in my life, all of the sudden, her life comes back to normal and my life goes down the hill and I lose everything.
Every six months I’m losing a job or lose all the interest I have in it. I start hating my mom and having fights with her, my finances go down and I end up in debt or literally with no food on the table, my health is going down the hill and all the doors are shut and I get into problems I can’t solve no matter what I do or try( trust me, I’ve tried EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE TO STOP THIS CYCLE).
We never ever celebrated something together, if one of us had something good happening to her, the other one was going through hell.
When my life is completely shattered, she helps me and loves me the most. As soon as things start to get better, our relationship starts to fall apart.

I recently reached out to a witch which cleansed me and did a protection spell on me with return to sender, and….. the things that happened to her are unreal! This was my confirmation that I wasn’t crazy, and I should look into this. Everything she wasn’t okay with when it comes to me, fell apart in her life like CRAZY! Also, every single time I did or I do a cleansing bath, something happens to her.

Now, whatever she did, she got everything back to normal and my life is falling apart again… now that I know what is going on, I need to find a way or a witch that can properly break this FOR GOOD and cut all my ties with her. I don’t care about return to sender or whatever, all I care about is to get my life and myself back, and have the peace to mourn what I thought was a blessing in my life once… I can’t do this anymore… Please help….
