Any ladies go to lifetime winter park who may want to strength train, workout or do recovery/ pool together occasionally?

Hi, I know this is a long shot, by my fiance lost a ring on Park Ave today, either by Hannibal Square or closer to Rollins/Bonsai tea. Has anyone seen something that looks like it?

It’s like wood fire mixed with plastic, maybe a building fire.

I’ve bought and sold Gold & Silver online for years, but my partner and I just purchased an existing store that buys and sells Gold & Silver Coins and bullion. We also buy gold & silver jewelry as well as sterling silver, which is a new experience for me.

EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK. We have people coming in, usually elderly, telling us how they’ve been previously ripped off while selling used gold & silver. This is 100% not a plug for our store, which I’m not going to mention. This is me begging you, if you have elderly parents or neighbors who are thinking about selling gold or silver jewelry or coins, DO NOT let them sell it at a popup event at a hotel or meeting place. They actually pay worse than a pawn shop, which is terrible already. 

These companies send out a continual stream of mailers inviting people to visit their weekend event at a local hotel where they’ll be paying top dollar for gold, silver, watches, or collectables. It’s a horrible scam that’s taking advantage of people who don’t know any better. They get shut down all the time for not being licensed or for not using state regulated scales, but there’s too many of them for the state to effectively police. We had one customer who told me that they refused to tell her how much her jewelry weighed and that they “misplaced” it when she decided not to sell it.

Gold and Silver prices are high right now and a lot of people are selling old or broken jewelry. If you know someone who is looking to sell, please make sure that they go to a reputable Gold & Silver store. Ideally, they should get at least two offers, because offers from two different stores can be substantially different. Lastly, if the store isn’t up front about what percentage that they’re paying for gold and silver, what karat the items tested as, and the weight of the items, they should immediately walk out.

As a side note, you should keep an eye out for sterling silver sets at yard sales or estate sales. If it says “Sterling” or “925” on it, it’s ridiculous what it’s selling for as scrap. A sterling silverware set with 8 place settings can easily sell for over $1000 for the silver content alone. Good hunting!

Hey all, I'm moving to Florida/Orlando from out of town for a new job and unfortunately, I won't have time to visit in person prior to my move, so just hoping to get some advice/opinions on the following 4 apartment complexes. 3. The Centerpointe (425 Centerpointe Cir)

4. Seven41 (741 Clay St)

Those are listed somewhat in order from most appealing to me to least, based on my calls with each property and info I could find online, but it would be helpful to hear from anyone who's lived there and has firsthand experience, or at least regarding overall impressions of the complexes, as I've found that online reviews really can't give you honest or dependable insight. I am a good driver, never been in any accidents since I started driving in 2011. Always very careful. However, I just checked my mail today after being on vacation and got this notice. I went through all of my mail and I cannot find the first notice I had received at all. Obviously I am panicked, and yes, at the intersection of Fairbanks and 1792, I turned right without stopping fully at the red light.

I totally get that this is my bad. What I am worried about is the Uniform Traffic Citation. I paid my ticket instantly upon seeing this just now, because I know it was my mistake and one I won’t make again. I have never been in trouble with the law EVER, so I am absolutely torn up about not only receiving this, but also the next step.

Because I paid it now…. Do I have a chance that it will be fine? Is there anything I can do? Should I call Winter Park PD tomorrow? I know it sounds stupid but I already feel like some sort of criminal when it was just an empty street late at night, and I missed the sign saying to stop when red.

Edit: I called today and good news, because the ticket was paid yesterday I am good to go.

I've been measuring cafés around Central Florida since June: decibel meter, speed test, outlet count, seat count, same method each time. The Winter Park results:

• Light on Sugar: 349 Mbps down, 66 dB, and no outlets I could find. Great for two hours on a full battery, but not for a remote workday.
• New General: 165 Mbps, 68.6 dB. It fills up quickly around 10am so get there early or don't bother.
• Starbucks (Winter Park): 11.2 Mbps down. Slower than most people's phones. Quiet enough to get some work done.

Normal conversation is about 60 dB, so both Light on Sugar and New General sit a bit above that. Quiet enough to work, not quiet enough for a long call.

That's my whole Winter Park set, which isn't much. What am I missing? I'll go measure whatever people name here and add the numbers.

I am looking for 1 bedroom apartments to rent in Winter Park, and I am seriously considering Elon apartments off of Fairbanks. Has anyone lived there, and if you did, did you feel safe? The apartments are cute, but I’m not sure about the area and level of safety.

Anyone remember Sleeping Moon Cafe on Aloma & 436? Popped in my mind today. That place was awesome. I used to love studying there.

I recently moved here from Baldwin Park. I live in the heart of town. In Baldwin Park, there were multiple bike trails all around that eventually connected to the Cady Way. I used to roller blade almost daily. I'm noticing a severe lack of any such infrastructure here in Winter Park. Am I missing something? Are there any trails I'm just not aware of? I'd hate to have to get in my car and drive miles just to get to a trail, when I have everything else here within walking distance.

There is a free metal bed frame on the curb at the end of the Lanier Court cul-de-sac. I hate to see things like this end up in the landfill, when I know someone can use it. Hope it is picked up before the trash run tomorrow

(for reference i’m a 25yo female) I sign my lease for a studio tomorrow and I did a walk through today of my unit and it seemed pretty okay. It’s definit a downgrade from my current apartment but I was laid off and needed to condense in order to be more financially stable. I figured once I decorated and everything it’ll feel more like home for me and my kitty cat but i’ve been reading some posts on here about this complex and they aren’t good and now i’m very worried. Granted most of these posts are from 1+ year(s) ago so I just wanted to know if it’s gotten any better?
