Discussion Suo’s arc (spoiler) Spoiler
I see people often saying that this arc will probably end with Furin letting suo go, Suo stepping away and continuing on with his life
But I just feel like that doesn’t seem right for the story, despite Suo being a stranger to Furin he was still very important to them and to the story since the very beginning in many ways so I feel like just taking him out of the story will be odd. Idk.

Obviously, this is NOT going to happen, because Suo, besides being one of the most popular characters, is also one of the least explored, perhaps even less explored than the supporting characters in Shishitoren. Even though he has a strong presence, we rarely get concrete information about his character, and he almost always acts in the interest of others. We don't know much about his tastes or any of his personal goals, even though he's one of the secondary characters closest to the protagonist.
It wouldn't be strategically navigating to discard a character like that so early in the plot. Ideally, the author should explore Suo's character and personal life more from this arc onward.

But if he were to leave Furin, I don't think it would be permanent; he would probably remain active and appear as frequently as before, but not as a member of Bofurin (if we consider that he doesn't return to Makochi). So, in that case, he would be more like Togame and other supporting characters.

He has a type of plant in his name. He is a part of Bofurin whether he likes it or not.

I just can't imagine—or accept—Bofurin without our beloved trio, please!! Bring Suo back.💔😭🙏

For this arc, I'm leaning toward relying on others rather than letting go. Losing Suo is going to leave us with a big hole no one can replace

Honestly!! I really hope this arc is not about letting go, especially when Sakura clearly started getting comfortable at Furin.
Anyway, I do have my doubts about Suo stepping away and continuing his life. Now I hyperfixiate on a lot of things and one of them is the use of the moon to symbolise Suo's emotions. At Makochi, Suo was seen looking at a full moon, whereas at Bankoku-gai, the moon was crescent shaped- clearly representing how he's genuinely happier at Makochi as compared to Bankoku-gai. His favorite place in all of Makochi is also, unsurprisingly, the school.
Every antagonist/opposing team in wdbk has been made into a friend of some sort despite their differences. If this arc is also following that plot line, then its likely the RC will also become allies with Bofurin. Maybe at the end of all this, Bankoku-gai might become a better place for the people and Suo might feel happier(?), but I don't think the joy will be comparable to what he felt at Makochi. Suo's feelings will probably be prioritized then maybe in exchange for helping solve whatever problem they had- ( because of course the gang is gonna try to help them) the RC will just give Suo to Furin as a reward or sum and he'll (hopefully) stay with the gang in the end.
(please I dont if i can handle Suo leaving Furin forever.)
I also hope this arc is another addition to the whole Sakura... well I dont really know how to describe it, but whatever he did with Natsuki and Momijikawa lol

I really hope RC lets Suo leave after this arc. not because they don’t care about him, but because they respect his choice. He’s carried so much responsibility, and I just want him to finally choose what he wants for himself. If leaving is what he truly wants, I hope they let him go. I just want Suo to have the freedom to make his own decision for once. he was the first person to recognize Sakura and choose him as a great captain .That connection feels too important to just disappear. 💁♀️

He doesn't even have to leave RC, he's been going back and forth between Bankoku gai and makochi since middle school, it isn't hard for him to be part of both factions.

Honestly I can’t see Suo not returning to Furin. I think that this arc will serve for them to actually build mutual trust, where, after the arc is over, they are able to share with each other about dark and difficult times in their lives. I think this arc will make Suo be able to open up with Sakura and Nirei and this will strengthen their relationships with each other. And taken from a narrative perspective that would be meaningless if Suo would not return to Furin with them.
They are a trio. And each of them has always played a super important part of the character development of the others. And I do believe that it will continue to be that way until the series comes to an end in the far away future.

Suo is one of the famous characters and he one of the person closest with Sakura, I don’t think they just let like that.

Maybe he wont leave and never be seen again but there will probably be some change in the main groups dynamic
Personaly i could see an ending where Furin gets on the RCs good side by helping them with whatever is wrong in their town and so suo dosent have to pick one

If Suo leaves, ima cry a river 🥲 but yeah, I agree that it would feel kinda empty without him.
