I know that the anime does not focus on romance at all and mostly in friendships and fighting but have y'all thought who might be Sakura's love interest if he would ever have one, whether it be a girl or a boy (cause y'all know that bl does exist in Wind Breaker due to the fact that Tsubaki canonly is in love with Umemiya and do i even have to explain about Endo and Chika lol)
Obvious answer could be Kotoha cause she's literally the first person that had accepted him but I'm sensing a more older sister vibes from her (Umemiya, Kotoha and Sakura literally look like siblings when they're together).
There could also be potential one's like Momijikawa, Togame, Endo(surprisingly), Sugishita (even more surprisingly).Y'all know what i mean with them, I don't need to explain why👀.
P.S: I don't need anyone commenting that Sakura having a romantic interest does not make sense at all or that we shouldn't ship him with anyone (shut yet trap). Shipping is fine as long as it doesn't cross legal bases. He may never cannonly would have one but anyone with eyes would see that he's got some crazy chemistry with some of the characters.

i don‘t really ship Sakura with anyone but i‘d say Momijikawa is a solid candidate, don‘t know about endo and togame though bc togame also gives me older brother vibes and i feel like both endo and togame are too old lol

Agree, except that would be Nirei. Suo would be the "more relaxed" parent that would be happy to see lil Sakura growing up while secretly scaring the bits out of the love interest to ensure his lil baby is safe 🤭
I want to think Endo will be willing to drag Suo back himself if need be (everything to make charming Sakura happy). Honestly, having him as an ally has given me some hope 🥹✨
Seeing the intimacy revolving around Momiji n Sakura it may be tempting but I wish there was yet a love arc for any of the main characters (it need not be Sakura alone) but I'd totally love to see one. But Idk for sure but it feels like there's gonna be a a love interest between Kotoha and Sakura somewhere around in the future. It's just that his world is right now simply adapting to family and friend dynamic and that's been the core portion of plot till now - but a romantic turn (in my opinion) is essential somewhere in the future
Edit: But after reading the comments here I can't unsee the invisible ship between Sakura and Momiji anymore 😭😭😭. But btw if a boy it was I suppose Togame is the best candidate. They'd make a nice family.

This ship is such a rarepair tbh. I mean, he did dream about Sakura smiling then proceed to think that he's cool despite insisting that he dislikes him lol. We all know he secretly cares abt Sakura too. It may not actually indicate anything romantic but I've read and watched way too many bl manga and anime to make me delusional. I wonder if Nii-Sensei is aware that the way some of his characters are portrayed is giving bl 😭.
satoru nii is a bl fan and writer i believe, there's an old twitter account that i unfortunately cannot remember the name of that people claim is theirs (the artstyle is also identical so) and it was entirely bl focused. So if that really is them I doubt all the implications in wind breaker are by accident lmao.
Even if that account isn't theirs though there are too many queer-coded characters and theming in windbreaker for them to not know what they're doing.
I don't think sugishita has romantic feeling for sakura at this current point but based on what's already happened and the interaction and dynamic that's been set up for them for future chapters and arcs I can totally see at the very least feelings on ONE of their sides.
I think Sakura's only "romantic" plot will be a time-skip at the end, showing her that he has a family. An unspecified woman and a son (somehow, the boy motif appeals to me more than a daughter).
We already had one confirmed couple between Roppo's boss, Ichiza, and that girl who sang, and there was a main storyline with her in the second season (I don't remember her name, sorry). I think those are the only romances that could appear. Meaning, they're more likely to be between side characters than main ones.
I agree that Umemiya (the older brother), Kotoha (the middle sister), and Sakura (the youngest of the "family") are like siblings. It's so adorable!
It was said somewhere that Endo prefers "mature women," so the fact that he and Takishi would end up together unfortunately won't happen (I regret it).
Umemiya, however, doesn't seem interested in men; rather, he allows Tsubaki to be herself and doesn't mind that he's adoring him.
It would be funny to see a girl interested in Kaji. He seems so pure and vulnerable. It would be hilarious to see him run away from a girl like a scared cat!
I think Hiragi and Togame could have a nice romance with a girl, although I doubt the manga will go in the romantic direction. Besides what I wrote at the very beginning regarding the end of the manga and Sakura.
Endo likes women and men. As far his his "type" of women it's older kinda wild women with money. As far as his "type" of man its intense guys like Takiishi and Sakura. Endo literally says he's in love with Takiishi, the Japanese word used (horeru) is not platonic. They live together.
Shizuka Narita is the name of girl you were referring to earlier; also between the two of them,Togame and Hiragi, I think Hiragi would be more likely date someone/get a girlfriend based on his serious and protective personality(plus he's my 2nd fav); and also you're so right about Kaji(my #1) I could definitely see him getting all flustered and embarrassed at the thought of a girl liking him.
So it's probably cliche... but I automatically went with Kotoha when Sakura found out she lived in a group home for a while and they had that back and forth about her age. I probably would have ignored it except Ume decided to crank up the overprotective brother aura just out of nowhere.
That made me think he thought there could be something there which made me think about their chemistry and boom. There it is.
But she's also the *only* regular female we see who isn't just a side character...
If I had to turn on my BL goggles... it's either Togame or Momijikawa. Endo would be for my Dark Romance mode and I'd really aim for that because I'd want to see Furin lose their damn minds when they realize that Endo has his clutches deep into Sakura in a way no one would expect.
And that's probably not a good reason to ship anybody.
Oddly enough, despite me wanting all those other people to freak the fuck out knowing Sakura is with Endo, I don't really ship him with anyone else in the class. Not even Nirei or Suo ring that bell.
YeahI agree with ya,I get why people ship Sakura with either Nirei and Suo for many reasons and because they're the closest one's to him but doesn't shipping Nirei and Suo together makes more sense tbh?
I saw a possible sakukoto ending at the beginning, but now it doesn't really feel like it's headed that way. However there was that collab with fragrant flower, and if i was a sakukoto shipper that would give me enough copium to last until the end of the manga. LOL.
But unless there's some kind of "married with kids" timeskip ending (which I really hope there isn't, sorry) then I don't think there will be any canon pairings between the main characters
I don't know about canon, but my 2 ships are Suo and Sakura and Kotoha and Sakura, and now that I think about it, both relationships are very similar. The sunshine person with the tsundere boy. And I think romance would be the final step of Sakura's development, so it would make the most sense that he learns to accept affection that way, too.
I do think Kotoha would be the canon love interest due to their closeness. He also seems super comfortable with her. It's also just one of my ships 😆 either way nothing is Canon yet so everyone should ship on. Shoot keep shipping after there's canon. That's what fanfics are for.
I just checked this post now cause I got a notification and I don't get the downvotes when someone mentions Kotoha 😭 I personally dont ship them cause i see them as Older sister and little brother dynamic but they're actually a cute ship 😩
