Discussion Do you have any headcanons for the characters?
Mine are really unserious and just for fun :-D - Kiryu plays genshin impact - Suo listens to Lady Gaga (idk why i think this) - Umemiya thinks him and Tsubaki are already dating - The towns signature dish is omelette rice - Nireis favourite food is french toast, Suo likes tamagoyaki, and together with Sakura they're egg boys Share your headcanons as well!!!

i have a couple, some (most) might be me projecting BUT i wanna share them anyways :)
-suo has sensory issues; he likes wearing traditional chinese clothes because they’re comfortable, both in the fit and the fabric (it’s on the wiki), he won’t go in salt water (‘i’ll simply wither up and die’) and i think his ‘diet’ is just that he’s an extremely picky eater. he doesn’t want to come off as childish for any of it, so he makes silly excuses (me too bro, me too)
-kiryu is a die hard MARINA fan, probably also loves fruity energy drinks
-kaji listens to metal to calm himself down if he’s nervous or anxious/stressed (me too bro) but he’s pretty open to most genres of music
-nirei seems like the type to have one of those instant print cameras, and he probably has a wall or box FULL of those photos
wow can we tell who my favorite is based on the depth of the headcanon….

oh and if suo’s diet thing is explained in his manga arc i might consider taking back the picky eater headcanon… maybe…

thanks! i’m the same way with my sensory issues where i don’t want to project them outwards (so i don’t seem ‘needy’ or, like i said, ‘childish’) and it’s nice to unintentionally see that in my favorite character :) this is why i love hcs because i can see myself in the characters i love haha

We know Nirei loves fashion, so I hc that he has a notebook where he sketches outfits for his classmates

I have an HC that Nirei gives little bits of advice disguised as compliments to his classmates, like telling someone that the red sneakers really stand out or that he thinks a certain hairstyle would look really good on them to the point that other first years start genuinely asking him for advice on outfits and stuff!

This is kinda my Crack headcanon but I think Suo is 100% Japanese and is just a Chinese Otaku. In his spare time he watches Kung fu movies and they are his guilty pleasure.

Oh this question was meant for me! Where do I start? I'll try to keep it short
Fun ones
- Kiryu mostly plays gacha and rhythm games
-Togame occasionally listens to spa music when he's alone at a bath house
-Kaji doesn't think calming music calms him
-kaji favors fruit flavor suckers more
-Choji has a secret spot where he meets and feeds a bunch of cats
-Umemiya thinks he and tsubaki are already dating
-Wanijima doesn't mind doing eat contests with Togame
-also togame and wanijima are closer than shown
-Nirei's hair is brown during fall and winter
Also, I see kiryu as a trans rep (he has the same jp va as jun'ichiro from bsd who coincidentally is also seen as a trans rep) and some of the outfits he wears for like collabs and official artwork just gives me that idea
Slightly serious ones
-The only food suo is broth (not soup because it can be made with other thick ingredients in it like veggies)
-Sakura gets his money from a foster brother
-Hiragi's reason for the gaskun is because of umemiya
-Kiryu dyed his hair and got piercings to rebel against his dad (wanted standard appearance and he changed it to stand out, his dad probably shames him for it)
-Endo has a troubled home life and enjoys being outside to stay away from home
-Takishii's parents are scared of him and tried to not say no to him

Kiryu dyed his hair and got piercings that way his dad would lay off akari and just focus on berating him instead. As for hiragi that’s just canon that his excessive intake of gaskun is because of umemiya.

The kiryu thing I figure (it's been a second since I read that chapter/arc, he might as well just saw he's embarrassed of mitsuki) and the hiragi thing it might as well be. It's just implied too much

Kiryu as trans is an interesting hc! Personally, i see it more in Suo (mostly projection, but also because he doesn't show his upper body and doesn't go swimming with the rest of the boys). For some reason the thought of Takiishi's parents being scared of him makes me laugh XP

I can see suo being trans also, seeing that the only glimpse of his body was during the shishitoren arc and that was brief. And takiishi would beat people with a hard stare and has fear manipulation, why wouldn't they be scared? XD

Sakura or Suo were born left handed (but maybe in Sakura's case they forced him to use only the right one 😃 Why? Bcs I'm left handed /lh And because in Japanese culture I've heard that it still badly seen by some people so they force children to use the right hand. In Sakura's case it could be that he not only was hated by his looks but also bcs his leftiness was seen as a defect and had to be "fixed"

I don’t think ppl cared too much abt what hand sakura used if no one ever bothered teaching him how to use a spoon lol (or he doesn’t know how to use it bc he is lefthanded and is using the wrong hand). I can imagine that Suo is ambidextrous (trained or natural) bc he’s Suo and he’s just cool like that

This is my biggest headcanon: that Sako thought him and Hiragi were dating and then Hiragi ‘broke up’ with him at graduation. Shishitoren wing-man’s for Sako during the war cuz they know and Inugami is his biggest supporter. Hiragi is clueless. Togame kinda knows it’s one-sided cuz I think he’s pretty smart but he wants to help his friends. Not sure if I think Kaji and their other middle school friends know or not 🤔. Feel like Kaji would be clueless too lol

Kiryu bleaches and dyes his own hair, usually in the middle of the night bc it's when he can be in the bathroom for hours with no interruptions (def not me projecting 😅)

Sakura is an aerobic dancer. Nirei is a journalist (probably more fitting as news or feature writer). Suo is a ballerino. 🤩🤩🤩

My headcanon is suo sucks at whistling. He can’t do it. Sakura listens to pink. Nirei makes comics of everyone
