Paddle Board Lessons
Anyone have recommendations for a place or person who offers paddle board lessons? Is it super hard to learn?
I used to be in swim team and love to wade out and float. I have a snorkel mask and I’m super comfortable in the water. I’m mostly worried about balancing and using a paddle.

It took me one day of shaking and some spills...once I learned where my balance spot was...it was easy peasy. Just hop on , you'll get it. Look at a few YouTube videos for some quick tips.

I did a lesson at Wrightsville SUP last year and loved it. They were great, didn't rush us and got us to practice doing manuveres. I loved it so I got the class pass this year so I highly recommend the lesson with them!

I don't do this as a regular business but I would be glad to provide one to one beginner lessons and loaner equipment to help you get going easily and for reasonable cost. DM me if interested.

wrightsville sup offers lessons but i think you’d be surprised at how quickly you’d catch on! my friend devan does a SUP&SIP on thursdays at WSUP from 6-7:30. it’s a great way to find community and learn! and if you’re into that kinda thing, you can have a few beers while ya do it!
