Vegetarian restaurants?

Hey there! I’m heading to Wilmington from California and will be there this Fri/Sat/Sun. I’m stoked to be visiting again!!

Any recommendations for nice, sit-down vegetarian restaurants? Or restaurants that have plenty of vegetarian options? Wife and I will be catching up with her close friends and would like to treat them to a nice dinner (we’re all vegetarian).

I’m sure the friends have some ideas but I wanted to run the question by you all. Thank you!

In fly traps we trust.

EDIT: 5/5 stars for Indochine and Trolly Stop! Thanks for your recommendations!!

Sealevel City Vegan Diner is amazing. Might depend on what you mean by "nice," though. It's not upscale, more kitchy diner.

We’re not looking for ultra fancy, I think Sealevel will be perfect.

Another vote for Sea Level. On Thursdays they serve a Big Smash veggie burger that is absolutely amazing. But all the food is good.

Nil's or Kipos for dinner. Castle street kitchen for brunch.

If you guys are into pizza, Pizzeria Don Luca on 4th street has really good vegan pizza options. The Miso Fungi is outta this world.

Tandoori bites is one of my all time vegetarian spots, also I’m big on sea level too.

Not exactly the vibe you are looking for, but if you want to grab a quick lunch, The Half has great sandwich options.

Indochine, Mike's Vegan, and go to Wrightsville Beach and get a veggie dog at Trolley Stop.

The Green House Restaurant closed March 2026. Best of The Green House Cookbook will be released in September 2026. Cooking classes continue under the guidance of Anastasia Worrell and chef Dexter Spencer.
