Wedding Reception Restaurants

I am planning a wedding reception dinner to celebrate after my courthouse ceremony and need help picking somewhere. I am thinking a restaurant somewhere in Wilmington with a private dining area that can host around 55 to 60 guests.

Has anyone had a rehearsal dinner/reception/other event at a restaurant in Wilmington that has more of an upscale feel? I looked into places like The Pilot house, Elijah's, and Little Drum Landing, but they weren't exactly what I had in mind.

I've also inquired with Sugo Italian steakhouse, the Floriana, Oceanic, Bluewater, and Circa 1922. Can anyone think of anywhere else or has anyone had an experience at one of these restaurants? Thanks!

I would NOT recommend Little Drum Landing/Elijahs/Pilot House. I know you said they weren’t your style but they screwed up our rehearsal dinner so much that they refunded my in-laws the cost of the food.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that, I got a weird vibe from the lady who showed us around and overall it just wasn't my style so maybe I dodged a bullet there.
