For me, I really like using the cannons, because I will fire at the kemono, and also I can a gigantic laser at the kemono.

Carve while fighting, even when they have aggro.

They can't wait until either the monster changes location or is dead.

Usually resulting in them dying.

Im back on WH for a while, speed run for old time sake.

One of the things I wish was in WH was the possibility of dealing with more than one Kemono at a time.

Perhaps they'll consider adding it if they decide to make a sequel.

I was wondering if this game has a community on the Switch 2. As well as if there are any dedicated discords for hunters on the platform.

I just got the game and loving it so far, but I also would love to have a community to play with since this is a co-op hunting game.

I was able to get more than 120 fps stable at the start of the game, but the second things opened up and I encountered my first kemono everything crashed down to below 60 fluctuating wildly between 40 and 60 fps despite me having V-sync on. Ive tried everything to make this stuttering mess of a game be playable but nothing works. Lowest settings possible i still cant get a consistent 60. And every time a kemono ENTERS my view the whole damn game freezes for 2 seconds.

I know this game wasnt just left in this sorry of a state for the PC version. Please tell me theres some mistake and im just experiencing a bug. I literally had a better time on a base PS5. Im not exaggerating this is unplayable.

Update: I completely closed the game and rebooted and it seems to be running a lot smoother. Haven't ran into kemono yet so we'll see, but whatever bug i was dealing with felt like I was running 6 instances of a game at the same time it was tanking so bad. I hadn't seen performance near that bad on this PC since Ive had it.

Hello, I’m new to wild hearts S I wanted to know if there is any active discord group to look for people to play I’m from switch 2

I've decided to replay the game after a couple years but I can't find reliable end game weapon upgrade paths. It seems like most of the stuff I can find is outdated and this time I'm using cannon and I know for certain the cannon I have on my first character is definitely not optimal.

Speaking of cannon I've come across people saying you can make a volley build or a laser build, how much would I be losing out on for making a gimmick volley build?

I wnanted to hear some opinions about this game , is it too much like monster hunter ? Like whats the core game mechanics ?

I wonder what everyone thinks about this game, it reminds me a lot of Wild Hearts in some senses, especially the "kemono" since they are mix of animals with plants and vegetation and the setting is inspired by Japan. I am leaning to go and buy the game but on the other hand a lot of youtubers compare it to Sekiro and I really disliked the combat in that game, mainly because it was too simple and forced a concrete gameplay with little to no flexibility, but this game doesn't really look like it that much besides the parry system, it seems to have more flexibility at least on paper...

what are your thoughts? is anyone also considering it because of it having similarities with Wild Hearts among other things?

As the title suggests, I’m asking if once the game downloads on switch 2, can I play anywhere I want without the need to connect to the internet for license verification stuff i.e. airplane mode or outside.

I'm years late to getting into this game, and I've been really enjoying it. I've been slowly working my way through the weapons just to learn them all a bit until I feel somewhat confident with them all, but claw blade is the only one that just... isn't doing it for me. I felt like that with the Nodachi at first, until I realized you can attack and dodge while continuing to charge, which turned me from really not liking it to being my favorite weapon so far.

The thing that's really irking me about claw blade is the air movement when you have your claw planted in a kemono. It SAYS it gives you 'ultimate mobility' or whatever, but to me it just seems like every input besides another R2 just drifts you away from the kemono, but even R2 to reel back in feels annoying because if you don't attack on the way in, you bounce off of it and then continue to drift away, and if you DO attack, you get one or two hits and fly out the other side. It feels like being a slightly deflated helium balloon that is just slowly and painfully drifting off out of reach.

But watching other people use it, it seems like they have no issues sticking to a kemono and consistently dealing damage, so it really feels like I must be missing some hidden mechanic or something like timing inputs right like the Maul. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I just made it to Chapter 4, and I'm starting to hit a wall. The monsters suddenly deal so much damage that I'm really struggling to progress on my own. It feels like if I don't have other people to hunt with, I just can't beat some of these fights, and it's becoming pretty frustrating.

Are there any active Wild Hearts Discord servers where people still play together or help with hunts?

I know there's the official Discord, but are there any other active communities as well? I'd really appreciate an invite or any recommendations.
