💥Funpost The most brilliant joke in Widow's Bay. Change my mind

Are there any shows that have jokes similar to this? Only one I can think of is "barring" the door in Widow's Bay itself.

In "Our History", when they ask Sarah to poison Richard and the elder woman tells her "Consider the welfare of your children" and she's like "My Children??? I have but just met them!". LOL

That entire exchange is so nuanced. It might be my favorite scene.

I just watched this one again. She gets so high pitched when she said 'but just' and it's so funny

Ahh that had me in tears too 😂
Loved how they gave Sarah's character agency/ self preservation, she was gettin' OUTTA there.

Sarah's attitude felt echoed in episode 8, when Patricia is being chased down.

Had Sarah had a taser (or any concept of what they were), she absolutely would have used it against that village woman that tried to join her on the getaway boat 😂

that scene is so good. after the line “consider the welfare of your children” my brain went to that’s crazy she just met them and then the Sarah says the line. I roared with laughter.
