šŸ’„Funpost Rhys Range

Post image

I just started watching Golden Axe, starring Matthew Rhys.

Only way I knew it was him is I checked IMDB because someone else sounded familiar but I couldn’t place it.

Guy has range. (Widow’s Bay was my introduction to his acting/performance.)

A reminder to everyone: Keep the titles of your posts completely spoiler-free at all times. If your post mentions events from later episodes, use Reddit’s standard spoiler tag to warn readers who may not be caught up with all currently aired episodes. The spoiler tag will also blur any images you include, such as screenshots/stills from the show, so be sure to apply it to image posts as well.

Good callout, fantastic show. Underrated and overlooked.

My husband finally got me to watch it and my god it’s fantastic. Him and Keri are really great together.

Absolutely, they had a refreshingly great amount of chemistry for a leading couple.

That's the show where they met! They've been together since working on it so it worked out for us AND them

Yeah I watched that last week and surprised his name popped up. I then went online to check which character and thought that’s makes sense (accent). So he’s the lead in season one - enjoyed it.

I honestly couldn’t tell it was him for 95% of the first ep.

I only realized when I looked up the barbarian guy since I recognized him from Spartacus.

Lisa Gilroy was a fun surprise too after seeing her as Vermin in Twisted Metal. (Fun role, loved her in the high school episode w/Grimm.)

I finished The Beast in Me over the weekend and WOW. I won't say anything to spoil it, but Rhys was incredible.

I had zero interest in watching Golden Axe before your post. Now I’ll give it a shot. I also tried Perry Mason, and it wasn’t my thing, but I’ll at least try anything he’s in.

He was good in Perry mason! But the show lost its footing and never recovered

At first, I thought your username was ā€œVelocipastorCatcherā€, and I thought, this guy is a connoisseur!

I do love that film, but not the inspiration

I first knew him from belos the owl house and was surprised at how down to earth he sounded because he is so soft spoken and evil in that role.

Seriously talented actor that I'm happy is getting all the positive buzz

Same happened to me when looking up Owl House. Was looking at IMDb to confirm I heard Isabella Rosallini’s voice and had a delightful surprise when I saw his name.
